George Grey was a Twenty Three year old vampire who just got turned a few months ago… By Samson. He had been driving home drunk one night when he lost control of his car and swerved into the woods. His car had collided with a tree and the impact had sent him flying out of the car through the windshield. There had been no hope for him because it was very late and no one could find him.
But luck had been on his side that night, because Samson had been in the woods that night too. He had run out of blood bags that day and didn’t have the chance to restock, so he had decided to go old fashioned.
Samson had gone into the woods that night and run into a couple camping there. After he compelled the woman not to scream, he had fed from her husband, then compelled them to forget that anything weird had happened. The couple had returned to their camping and Samson was on his way back when he heard the crash.
Using his vamp speed, he hurried to the spot, and there he found Young George bleeding to death. George couldn’t even speak, but Samson saw the fear in his eyes. He was clearly afraid. Afraid of the unknown. Afraid because he was not ready to die, and Samson knew that he had to make a decision.
It was late and even if he made a call, the Young man would be dead before the ambulance arrived. He could either hold this man’s hand so he wouldn’t die alone, or he could feed him his blood, so he would turn into a vampire.
It wasn’t an easy choice to make for someone. Being a vampire had it advantages. It gave you immortality, heightened senses, the ability to mind control and heal people. It gave you supernatural powers, but at the same time it took other things from you. It was like a blessing and a curse at the same time. Because you get to watch the people you love and care about grow old and die, leaving you alone. You get to watch them get sick and get Hurt. You felt things like pain even more. You have to feed on blood… Hurt other people sometimes to survive and sometimes you took the life of innocent people, especially the first-time you turned and you had little or no control over the blood lust.
Making this kind of decision for a person wasn’t an easy thing to do, and for a second, Samson almost decided to let George die. Maybe it was the best thing to do, but for some reason he couldn’t. It was true that some people regretted and hated being a vampire, but some people actually loved it. Some people thought it was the most beautiful and amazing thing to happen to them, and Samson hoped that this Young man he was about to save would be one of those people.
So he decided save the man’s life. Using his fangs, he bit his wrist, piercing his vein, then he bent and let the blood run down the Young man’s throat. The healing started after some seconds and the man sensed that the blood was what was healing him. As soon as he could move his hand, he slowly lifted it and grabbed Samson’s wrist, holding it a little tighter to his lips.
A few minutes later, George woke up. A new man with a new life. A new personality and so everything changed for him. He was a vampire. The idea scared the crap out of him at first, especially when the blood lust hit him, but Samson tried his best to help him. He taught him about his new abilities and even tried to help him feed from a blood bag so he wouldn’t have to Hurt anyone.
Samson didn’t have anyone to help him like that when he turned, and he knew the horrible guilt that came when you killed someone by mistake, and he didn’t want George to go through that, so he spent some time trying to teach him how to feed right.
George was a fast learner, and he picked up real quick, but he hated to drink from a blood bag. He preferred warm blood from the vein, just like any vampire. Samson knew that he couldn’t stop him from feeding the way he wanted, so he simply tried to teach him how to do it safely without killing anyone.
George was a good kid. He obeyed instructions and to Samson’s relief, he liked being a vampire. He loved the cool things that he could do because it made him feel like a super hero. And he usually visited Samson as often as he could.
On this very day, just as most of the towns people, he was at the rave, and he had enjoyed himself greatly. He had danced quite a lot with a lot of people and now he was thirsty. Thirsty for some beer and blood. He decided to go for beer first, so he headed for one of canisters which was kept by the corner of hall.
Some of his friends were there, and deciding to show off a little, he decided to perform a little stunt. He grabbed the cannister and soon he was hanging upside down on one of them, while one of guys around held the hose to his open mouth.
Shouts of ‘chug! Chug! Chug!’ filled the air, and George was definitely not going to disappoint his fans. As soon as the beer hit his throat, George knew that something was wrong, it burned, but the guy who had the hose had no idea and pumped more of it into his mouth.
George got down immediately and started to cough, pouring out the remaining liquid from his mouth, but most of it had found its way down his throat and it burned like hell. The people around were laughing now. They had throughly enjoyed the show.
“Such a show off” one of guys said, mocking George. “He couldn’t even last there for a minute”
The rest of people jeered, but George didn’t care. Who the fuck had put juniper into the beer? He would go tell Samson about it later, but right now he had to feed to get some of his strength back.
Ignoring his friends, he pushed through the crowd and headed for the exit.
A few feet away, Travis and Jeremiah watched the whole thing.
“It’s show time” Jeremiah said, as they both followed George out of the hall.
