“But…” Annie was getting angry, and almost exploded. But she controlled it, and was back to the little girl she acted out. “Joshua, I know you don’t want to get married now, but everyone already knows about us, if we don’t get married now, our parents will have a hard tome.”

Annie never thought that he would say something like this to her. She thought that if she forced the announcement of their engagement, Joshua would accept it.
She never thought, never, that she would get this as a result.

She couldn’t leave, it took her everything to get here, to be the female master of this house, her one and only dream, she didn’t want to leave. She knew, if she left now, her relationship with Joshua will definitely be over.

Lambert and the others stopped what they were doing. Annie thought that Joshua regret his demands, and said full of hope, “Joshua, I knew it, I knew you wouldn’t try to get rid of me, this was just a joke right, you almost scared me to death.”
Joshua was disgusted by her, and didn’t even want to turn and look at her, his eyes were fixed on Abigail, as if he wanted to stare a hole into her face. Abigail tried to take a step back, but she was held by Joshua.
“I never joke.” He said determined, dark and stable voice. Just when everyone thought that he wasn’t going to change his mind, he said, “But, I will give you another chance.”
“What chance?” Annie was stunned, and asked quickly. As long as she was gonna have a chance, she would not let go of it.
Abigail just noticed, that him and Annie had a fight. But she didn’t understand why Joshua didn’t let go of her. She didn’t want to be dragged into their business, and didn’t want to show any intimacy in front of his fiance.
She pushed him with force, and said, “Let go of me!”
Joshua shook his head, his eyes were bright with playfulness. He was very interested in the game he was about to play, and he believed that it was going to be a lot of fun.
He didn’t let go of her, instead, he even added some force, saying to the people behind him, “How about that, you ask the nice lady next to me, Miss Michelle.”
“Miss Michelle”, these two words let his eyes go cold again, so cold as frozen water. Yes, she was just a substitute for Michelle. When she realized what she was, her look went normal again, and she laid her eyes on Joshua, waiting to see what he was up to.

Annie couldn’t wait anymore, and resisted the hands holding her. She ran towards the stairs. All her arrogance was gone, and she looked pitiful.
“Miss Abig… Miss Michelle, I am begging you, we are all women, just please let me stay.” She didn’t care about anything anymore, as long as she could stay, she would do anything, even if its begging someone.
She didn’t understand why she had to make this decision, but she knew, he would keep his word, whatever she decided, he would act on it.
It didn’t matter what she had endure, she would take it.
“Miss Michelle, please.”
Abigail suddenly felt this whole situation too childish, Annie was his fiance, why did this have anything to do with her? She put on a cold smile, and lowered her head, not looking at Joshua.
“Miss Michelle, please!”
Annie was still begging her.
Her face was covered with tears, her pretty make up was all over her face, making her look really messed up.
“She didn’t say anything, that means she doesn’t agree. You can go now.” Joshua had a lot of fun, and said without any emotions.
Abigail knew that if she didn’t say anything, Annie was really going to get kicked out. This man was so heartless, they just got engaged, and they even had a picture on bed published, and now he was kicking her out.
Annie was right, they were both women, she could understand how hard it was for her. And now, that she was pregnant with Joshua’s child, she didn’t even dare to tell him. Only she knew what she has been through.
Both of them had the same reason to stay in this house, for love.
“No, Annie is your fiance, she should stay here.” Abigail said, if someone was leaving, then it’s her.

She sighed, and felt helpless.

Annie took a deep breath, her sad face turned into a delighted one, she put on a smile, which was more than just fake.
“Thank you Michelle.”
She said it on her lips, but her face was stiff, her fists clenched, she turned around and swore to herself, “This fucking bitch, letting me look bad, I am not going to let this go so easily!”
This dramatic scene was finally over, but Abigail was still in Joshua’s hands, she tried to pull her little hand, saying, “Sorry, but I need to go.”
The grip tightened even more, she was starting to feel pain, and couldn’t help but to frown her face. She looked with her big eyes towards Joshua, and saw the anger rising in them. Did she anger him?
“Come with me!” He said, and her body was being pulled by him.
He kicked in the door to a room, and was thrown on the bed.
“You…” Was he going to … again?
Abigail was scared to hugged herself tight, her eyes were turning, then rested on him. He looked so cold, his expression so dark, is it because she allowed Annie to stay here?
“Annie is your fiance…”
“Shut up!”
Joshua didn’t want to listen to her, he was very annoyed when he heard the name “Annie” and his face frowned.
