The porch and foyer are elegant and subtle, yet comfortable. Besides, the living room and bedroom are filled with classical architecture and they were equipped with hexagonal windows which can enjoy a good view.
The combination of Chinese and Western was match.
Abigail was led to a room which next to the living room, it was a white room which Michelle’s beautiful portrait was hanging on the wall. A coffin was placed in the middle and it was surrounded by many white chrysanthemums, and there, the person who was lying inside should be the remains of Michelle. There were also two rows of wreaths that were neatly arranged around.
“This is the mourning hall that Mr. Caunter has temporarily set up for Miss Michelle. He instructed you to keep watching here!” The woman threw over a futon on Abigail, she didn’t give many explanations and walked out with a stern-faced.
Abigail tidied up the futon and knelt quietly. That woman should be one of the servants in this house. The servant treated her coldly was already expected. She was the murderer who killed their future hostess, Abigail didn’t wish they treated her well.
Abigail closed her eyes and prayed for Michelle, hoping that she would enter heaven and live a happy life, and she also wished Michelle’s fiancé can get over this hurt as soon as possible and find new happiness…

She knelt for three days, and in those three days, she had been forgotten by all of them. No one had come to see her ad give her some foods and drinks.
Abigail’s red lips had dried and wrinkled up, it was forming deep folds, some of which had dried and cracked and leaving blood stains. Her face even more haggard and pale, the over hunger and thirst that had exhausted most of her strength, her legs were numb seemed the legs do not belong to her.
Abigail didn’t blame anyone, murder someone’s fiancée and it was reasonable for them to punish her in this way. If she did starve to death here, it would be considered demand a life for a life, and they wouldn’t owe each other anymore.
Abigail felt dizzy and had the feeling that she was about to faint, she braced her hands against the ground and shook her head, hoping that she could be spiritual.
“Silvia… Silvia…”There was a voice that came from the other side. Suddenly, the door of the mourning hall was opened, and it was revealing an old lady with silver haired.
The old lady with a silver hair which threads meticulously behind her head was looked to be over seventy years old. Her body slightly chubby, and she was wearing an expensive cheongsam. She was trying to find something, but her eyes looked without focus.
“Silvia… Silvia…” she was still calling out that name. Could Silvia be her grandson or granddaughter? The old lady’s sounds anxious and she began to keep looking behind doors and the corners. Abigail observed from her actions and realized she was a delirious old lady!
“Granny, there’s no one here.” She reminded her kindly.
“Silvia… Silvia…” The old lady had not heard, she didn’t spot the wreath which was under the floor. She would surely fall if she kicked on it. Abigail saw her trembling feet and knew that her legs are not good.
“Granny, be careful… “Abigail was about to warn, but the old lady had already fallen to the ground as she predicted.
