I cursed for the hundredth time today. We haven’t still found Techna since three days ago when she was kidnapped. I had used one of the best private investigators in New York, and still we haven’t found anything at all. Not even a clue.
Damn it! If she dies with my babies, I would never forgive myself for not protecting them.
Tyler, stop thinking negatively. You will find them safe and sound.
I hope so. Techna is even almost due to giving birth. I don’t even know what to do anymore. I haven’t even eaten since she was kidnapped.
That mother fucker that took her on a date!!! As I see his shadow, I will kill him. I shouldn’t have allowed her on that date. Shy did she even agree to go?!
“You still haven’t found her?!” I snapped at the blonde man starring nervously at me. What a coward!
“Uh… no sir” He shuttered.
I scoffed. “You are fired! “I snapped at him and turned away.
“But… Sir… ” It seems this guy wants to die.
“Did I shutter when I talked to you? I said get out! You are fired!” I yelled without looking at him.
“That’s enough, son!” My father’s voice boomed in the living room. “Go Kelvin. Resume work tomorrow. ”
“Thank you Mr Moner. ” He said and went out.
“Dad, I just fired him! “I said.
“Excuse me. You have fired a lot of people in this three days! You are just the CEO, Tyler. I am the owner, you don’t just fire people anyhow just because they didn’t find any information about Techna. ”
“But dad, she… ”
“I know that son. We are going to find her, I promise. ” I looked up and saw mom, she pulled me into a bear hug as I wiped a tear. I held onto her tightly.
“Thanks mom and dad. ” I looked down not wanting him to see that I had tears threatening to fall down my cheeks. I am a man, I still have my ego and man pride.
“Anytime son.” My dad patted my back.
“Now go and have your bath. You stink!”My mom scolded. “And after that go and eat good food. You haven’t eaten since two days ago. And don’t you dare tell me you are not hungry!” She glared at me when I wanted to open my mouth and protest.
“Yes mom.” I nodded and headed upstairs.

“Tyler! ” I looked up and saw Mackenzie running towards me. You remember Mackenzie, Techna’s best friend and Trevor’s(My older brother) girlfriend.
Lately, Mac and I had gotten close when she used to come and visit Techna, or when she came with Trevor. “Hi.” She said as she engulfed me in a bear hug. “Tech was kidnapped.” She whispered, and I knew she was about to cry.
“Yeah, I know. We are trying to find her. I miss a lot.”
“Me too. ” Mac said and pulled away.
“Hands off my girlfriend!! “Trevor’s voice boomed in my office as he entered smiling at me.
I chuckled. “Hello to you too. ” We did our brother hug.
“How are you coping, Tyler? “Trevor sat on the couch and Mac sat on his laps. “I heard my brother is in love. ” He smirked.
“Troy, Fuck.” I muttered and groaned.
“So it’s true. ” He chuckled with Mac and I glared at him.
“I just like her.” I said as I looked everywhere but them.
“Who do you think you are deceiving? Man, you are whipped. ”
“Whatever. Why are you guys here? ”
“We just came to greet you and dad called me .”
I was about answering him when someone barged into my office.
“Sir, there is a video call from an unknown number for you, and we are guessing it’s from the kidnapper. The number is private.”
“Transfer the call to my laptop and try to hack into the phone or whatever device and find me a location!”I said and opened my laptop as the guy went out.
Mac and Trevor stood behind me as I answered the video call and waited for it to connect. “Well, hello Mr Moner…

“Cut the nonsense and tell me where Techna is?! “I busted angrily with rage. I don’t have time for jokes.
“Easy there, lover boy. I would just show you where she is. ” He laughed evilly and then I heard muffled noise a woman made from the background as the man shifted the camera.
I heard Mac gasp then I turned to look at my laptop’s screen. Techna was tied to a chair with ropes. She had bruises on her face but I wasn’t so sure since she was facing down and there were dried blood on her clothes. She looked leaner and pale.
My heart shattered more as I saw the woman I cared for the most in the world looking in this state. And it’s all my fault. If I hadn’t gotten her pregnant, she wouldn’t be like this.
I looked down at her stomach and saw it was still big. I was glad that he didn’t kill my babies and her. “Techna. ” I manage to choke out.
She looked up and her eyes widened. “Tyler. ” She said in a hushed whisper…
And I saw her lips twitch up…
