Tyler pulled me back and grabbed me by my waist. What was he doing?
I looked at him through my lashes and bit my lips unconsciously. “Don’t look at me like that, Techna.” He groaned.
“Like what?” How was I looking at him?
“Like that.” He said and brought me closer to himself, until we there was a small gap between us.
“Tyler, what are you… doing?”
“I… I want to kiss you, Techna.” I gulped. How did he expect me to be able to say no when he was looking at me like that.
Yes, I was attracted to him, but as much as I want to taste his pink delicious looking lips and run my hand along his hair, I won’t kiss him. Because I don’t know his intentions towards me, and I was not going to act cheap and fall for his charms.
He stared at my lips and back at my eyes continuously, before he settled his eyes on mine and sighed.
He shook his head vigorously and pecked my forehead before pulling me off his laps and dropping me beside him gently. “As much as I want to kiss you so bad, I can’t. You are dating my brother, I won’t spoil your relationship with him, and his relationship with me since we are getting along pretty well now.”
So, he think Jake and I are dating? I guess it will be good he keeps thinking that way, so he wouldn’t make advances at me.
“I am glad you thought about that, you know. I am also happy you guys are getting alone well.” I stood up and headed towards the door. “See you in the morning.”
“Wait!” I stopped in my tracks, and turned around to look at him before raising a brow. “I was thinking we should go baby shopping.”
“Tyler, we don’t even know the gender yet until this Friday, I will be five months along by then.” It wouldn’t be great if we buy the wrong colors after finding out on Friday. As much as I want to go baby shopping, I didn’t want us wasting money.
“But we can buy neutral colors, like unisex clothes.” He said and I think that was a great idea.
“Brilliant!” I said excited and went to hugged him.

It was already in the afternoon and Tyler came to remind me that we would be going baby shopping. I didn’t go to work today because I was feeling weak and Tyler decided to stay with me. He left his company in the hands of Troy, because he had nothing to do today.
“I will get ready in five.” I left his room and went to mine. As I was picking up clothes to wear, I couldn’t help but think about what he said early in the morning today.
As much as I want to kiss you so bad…
Why would he want to though? What was his motive behind it though? I was just his baby mama right? And his personal assistant too.
I settled on wearing a blue sundress with black flats since my feet were getting swollen and I couldn’t wear heels for now. I packed my hair into a ponytail and applied eyeliner and mascara before going downstairs to meet Tyler.
Tyler was dressed in just a plain blue tee and black denim jeans with vans, and he still looked gorgeous.
He stared at me for like a minute. “See something you like?” I smirked at him and I swear, I think I saw a faint blush on his cheeks.
“Yes, actually.” He murmured and smiled a little.
We went out of his house and walked towards his car in the parking layout. He opened the door for me and I murmured a ‘thank you’, before he entered the car and drove off to the mall. What a gentleman.

I pulled him into JCPenney and strolled into the children session, dragging him along with me and I heard him murmur something like ‘Impatient pregnant woman’.
I turned around and glared at him. He raised up his hands in surrender and chuckled.
He put his hand around my shoulder as we walked through. “They are such a cute couple.” I heard an old woman say as she passed us with her husband, I suppose. I looked up at Tyler and saw him smiling at them.
“We…” Before I could object, they had rounded a corner and I sighed. I pinched Tyler’s cheeks playfully. “Why were you smiling?”
“Because I felt like.” He winked at me and went to another side of the kids session.
A yellow blouse with ‘daddy’s girl’ written on it caught my attention. It had a matching shorts, a beanie and sneakers. I grabbed it picked a similar one that was for boys. I walked around until I had picked different unisex clothes.
I met Tyler who was holding a bunch of clothes and it looked like he bought more of twin shoes than clothes. All we had bought were two of the same type each, since we were having twins. “Why did you buy that?” Tyler pointed at the yellow clothes that had ‘daddy’s girl’ on it.
“I don’t know, I guess we are going to have a girl. You know, mother’s instinct.”
“Oh, right. Then I am getting a boy too.” We kept all the things we bought in a cart, including feeding bottles, diapers, wipes, and other baby stuffs that were necessary. We were almost at the queue to the cashier when we heard a voice.
“Tyler, baby.” I could tell the owner of that familiar irritating high pitched voice from anywhere. She just had to come and spoil my mood.
