Techna
I sat in the living room as I watched TV eating chips and a bucket of vanilla ice cream beside me on the couch. Tyler kept on telling me that I should eat healthy foods and not junks. I stuck my tongue out at him and told him I wanted this, and that’s what the babies wanted, so he shut up and went upstairs.
I touched my stomach and a tear fell down my cheek, I couldn’t still believe I lost a baby, my baby, Tyler and I’s baby. I am just grateful to God that I still had the remaining two, but I really loved the one I lost equally with the remaining two.
The rest and I had gone to bury my baby after we left the hospital. On her grave stone, her name Amy Nina Moner was written. Well it was Mac and Troy that named her.
I cried on her stone and Tyler comforted me till we got home. “Are you guys going to tell me what’s going on now?” I cried out. It’s been two hours since we got home and they had been passing me by like everything was ok and when it was not. I knew it, they knew it.
Were they in some kind of gang or business rival? I don’t understand. They were all sitting on the couch. Ty was beside me busy typing on his phone after he had gone upstairs and cried. I knew he cried, because when he came back down, he eyes were puffy and slightly red.
I nudged him by the arm. “Ty?” I whined and snatched his phone.
“Techna? What I am doing is important you know?” He whined trying to get it.
“No, I don’t. Tell me you guys, now or never or I am going to move back to my apartment.” I warned.
“Hell no! Now that things are worse.” Tyler complained.
“What things?” I tried persuading them again.
“What we are going to tell you now, you wouldn’t like it. You will be angry with everyone especially Mac and I, so…”
“So what? How do you explain why there are a lot of men around the house with different type of dangerous guns…”
“Which gun isn’t dangerous, huh?” Troy joked and I glared at him. I wasn’t in the mood for jokes.
“How do you explain a lot of men in black attires coming here and shooting? How do you explain why they wanted to take me, uh? How do you explain…”
“We are in the Mafia damn it!” Tyler cursed and sighed frustrated.
Mafia? I can’t believe this! “What the freak?”
“Techna, you have to calm down.” Mac said trying to calm me down. But I didn’t calm down, and I started ranting and throwing tantrums like a five year old.
Damn hormones.
“I can’t! I can’t believe you guys hid this from me!” I yelled out of breath.
