Six days had gone and during those days, Tyler has stylishly been reminding me about it.
“Welcome back.” I hugged Mac. I really missed this lady. A day without her was booring. “How was the trip?”
“Woah! Your belly is bigger now. And the trip was good, Techna. It was awesome.”
I saw my best friend blushing. It seems like something was up. “Spill up everything, and don’t leave any detail.” I laughed, she was already blushing. This was the first time she will blush over a man.
“Sit your butt down and stop acting like a 3 year old that just got a princess castle for her birthday.” Mac said and fell on the couch after leaning her suitcase on the wall.
I sat next to her and gave her a smug smile, wiggling my eyebrows. “Spill.”
“Well… um… I got kissed by someone.”
“Trevor, huh?” I smirked when her cheeks reddened again. “He kissed you? Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!”
“Yeah, that was in the elevator after we attended a meeting. The elevator got stuck while we were going back to the suite, and that had me falling on his chest. Our lips met and instead of pulling away he closed his eyes and pulled me closer. Very cliche, I know right.”
“And he kissed you, then you had sex. You both have kissed more than once.” I completed.
Mac looked at me shocked. “Wow. You know me too well, Winters.”
“When were you going to tell me you had a crush on your boss? Next year? Never?” We both laughed.
“Sorry, I thought I could get over it.” She said.
“So that’s why you kept going to parties and getting laid to get over the crush.” She hit me on the shoulder playfully. “Stop hitting a pregnant woman, yo!”
“I said you know me too well.” She sat up and faced me. “And you know what? He said he is attracted to me, that he cares about me.”
I cooed and clapped. “Awesome, Mac. I am really happy for you.” I gave her a big hug.
“So how has it been with you and Mr Moner?” I told her everything that had happened when she left. About Tyler finding out and asking me to go live with him, and things with Xavier, Tyler and Jake.
And yeah, Jake and I went on a date two days ago, and it was good but we decided on remaining good close friends. I didn’t leave a single detail to Mac, because we always tell each other everything.
“You should go live with him, Techna.” Mac said after I had told her everything.
“But I don’t wanna leave you all alone.” I frowned at her.
“I will be fine, Techna. And now that Trevor has entered the picture, I will be occupied. Don’t worry, I will be visiting you.”
“You both better not have sex on my bed or I will slit both your throats.” We both laughed again. “Are you sure?”
“Oh Techna , come on. It’s a great thing. At least he cares for four of you.” Mac hugged me and patted my head like I was a child. “What has been your decision?” I only gave her a smirk.
After making sure everything was all done, I decided to make a glass of milk, and that’s when I heard the door bell. He must be the one. Was he really scared? He really believed me. “Coming!”
I smiled and made my way to the door. He was already knocking heavily on the door.”Techna! Are you alright?!” I turned the door handle and pushed the door opened only to see Tyler in sweatpants with bathroom flip flops and no shirt. I sucked in my breath at first.
Holy molly.
Then I laughed at his dressing and saw him look at me confused. “What?”
“What? You are asking me what? You just called me in the middle of my evening bath, telling me you fell and had pains in your stomach.” He paused and shot me a glare. “Only for me to get here not wearing a shirt, to see you standing in front of me looking alright. You were ogling me, and you dare laugh?” He shot me a glare again. “Do you find that funny?”
Oh oh. Baby daddy was mad at me.
I held his arm.” I am sorry. “Then I saw him looking inside my house and he stiffened. “You are coming to live with me?”
I saw his eyes softened, and there it was… he was grinning like crazy. “Yes idiot, I am moving in with you.”
