As soon as Selina entered the ward after checking, she found someone in it. As she saw the one standing by the window, her heart beat faster uncontrollably. “Darren…” That guy turned around slowly, “Selina, it’s me.” Eric looked at her worriedly. He rushed towards Selina who was in a trance and hugged her. Disappointment and disgust appeared on her face, but she had no strength to push Eric away. So she twisted her head in case he found her disgusted look and asked, “Why are you here” Eric half knelt in front of the wheelchair. He held her hands in his and replied in an emotional tone, “I heard the news of your accident, and I came here immediately. Where have you been injured Tell me.”
Selina withdrew her hands in a casual way. She adjusted her mood to meet his emotional eyes. She gave an aggrieved but happy face to him, “It never occurred to me that you would come for me.”
