“Are you moved by him?” Lillian said nonchalantly, “He has been living in our house for two years. We deserve a new house from him! You don’t owe him anything.”
“This brat is quite scheming. He knew that he earned his money from you, so he bought a house to please you. Dayanara, Alberto wouldn’t have such good intentions to buy a house for us.”
Lillian looked at Dayanara and said seriously, “He is paving the way for himself, hoping that you would protect him when he had problems in making money in the company.”
Cedric thought for a moment and said, “Alberto is quite capable. He can earn so much money even by working as an assistant. He is a true genius.”
“What genius? As long as he doesn’t work for Dayanara, he will be a nobody. He will have to return to his barbeque business,” Lillian said complacently.
“Dayanara, don’t just focus on designing. You also need to expand your network,” Lillian said, “Look, even your assistant can earn a lot of money and make friends. You should also play a part as a director. From time to time, you should deter Alberto and make him restrain himself. At the very least, he should be honest to you.”
Dayanara was speechless.
Mom and dad might not know the inside story, but she knew that Alberto had accumulated quite amount of fortune.
“Alright, after we move to the new house, we need to buy some furniture and host a banquet with all our relatives and friends present for a celebration!” Lillian said happily.
“That’s right. It’s been a long time since our family held a banquet,” Cedric nodded and agreed.

For several days, Mr. and Mrs. Cedric were busy with the new house. They invited their relatives and friends and held a banquet at the nearby Fountain Hotel.
On the day of the banquet, Alberto showed up as a mere formality and he returned after drinking two glasses of wine.
He didn’t know any of Lillian’s or Cedric’s friends and relatives.
Moreover, the Cedric couple didn’t seem to be happy to let him participate in the banquet.
So Alberto stayed at home, sat in lotus position and meditated.
Beep!
After half an hour, his phone rang.
Beckett called.
“Mr. Maynard, Rey contacted me today,” On the phone, Beckett said respectfully.
Alberto asked, “What did Rey say?”
“Rey asked me why I didn’t have someone deal with you. I told him that I didn’t have time to do these trivial things and rejected him,” Beckett said seriously.
“He also said that he would increase my commission, and that he would like to talk to me personally,” Beckett said, “Mr. Maynard, do you need me to have an appointment with him to teach him a lesson?”
“No need,” Alberto said calmly, “There’s no point in doing this. Rey relies on the Collinses. If I have to deal with him, I’ll directly eliminate his supporters.”
“Mr. Maynard, what do you mean? Are you going to destroy the Collinses?” Beckett asked with disbelief.
He still didn’t know what power was behind Alberto.
However, he knew that the Collinses of City Auton was a tycoon, as well as a family with hundreds of years of history!
He, Mr. Carney of Southwich District, the most powerful person in the neighborhood, was definitely someone who could deal with a second-rate family like the Mcconnells. He could even destroy them.
However, if he were to clash head-on with a first-rate family like the Collinses, Beckett would undoubtedly die.
The three most well-known families of Auton are the Collinses, the Mahoneys, and the Baldwins, and they had intertwined relationships in all aspects of the city. Their powers were deeply rooted, and their financial resources were abundant. Furthermore, members of those families were outstanding in all walks of life, and they possessed great resources and enormous power.
If Alberto could even eliminate the Collinses, then he had found a powerful teammate!
“Wait for my arrangements,” Alberto said indifferently.
“Yes, Mr. Maynard!” Beckett said respectfully.
After hanging up, Alberto rubbed his temple.
Rey didn’t give up. He even wanted to find someone to deal with me?
After thinking for a while, Alberto called Jeffery and asked him to sort out the details of the Collinses and send him a copy.
Just as Alberto hung up the phone, the doorbell rang and Dayanara and her parents returned.
Cedric’s face was blushed and he was very happy. Obviously, he had drunk a lot of liquor at the banquet.
“Now I finally felt the feeling of decency! Connor and Clark didn’t come, but Cecelia and Colten came with their families. This is all because of Dayanara’s achievements!” Cedric smiled.
“Of course, anyone working in the jewelry industry knows Dayanara,” Lillian said arrogantly.
As Cedric spoke, he staggered to his room and lay down on the bed.
“Dayanara, you must get ready for what Cecelia told you today,” Lillian said seriously, “Cecelia thinks highly of you. Listen to her, she must be right.”
“I know.” Dayanara looked resigned.
Alberto frowned and asked, “Dayanara, what did Cecelia tell you?”
He knew about Cecelia. She was a strong woman. She did well in the older generation of the family. However, she set up her own business very early and did not stay in the Mcconnell Jewelry Group. Therefore, she rarely showed up.
Cecelia left the Mcconnell Jewelry Group before Bernard died. She worked in antique industry and started her own business. After several years of hard work, she was now a well-known figure in this industry in Auton.
Compared with Connor and Clark, her fortune was no less at all.
“Alberto, don’t ask if it’s none of your business,” Lillian said with a straight face, as if she didn’t want Alberto to know.
Alberto frowned and looked at Dayanara.
Dayanara also looked at Alberto and asked thoughtfully, “Alberto, do you know about antique collection?”
She remembered that last time when she was finalizing the World King, Alberto had a deep understanding about the design of jewelry, and his skills were very professional.
“A little,” Alberto said.
When he was young, he followed his teacher and mastered the art of antique collection.
Dayanara thought for a moment and said seriously, “Then, Alberto, come with me to a seminar about antiques held two days later.”
“What does Alberto know about antiques? You want to take him there?” Lillian’s expression was solemn as she advised, “Didn’t it mean to trouble your aunt? Your aunt is giving you a great opportunity. Don’t let Alberto ruin it.”
“You should know that in our family, your father and your aunt get along quite well with each other. Don’t break this relationship.”
“What great opportunity? Ah, isn’t it just about introducing unmarried wealthy man to me? It’s so annoying,” Dayanara said resignedly.
