“Security! Stop them.”
Danielle said arrogantly. She waved her hand and immediately summoned several people in security uniforms.
“They’re not allowed here, but they insist on taking their seats. It is obvious that they merely want to cause trouble. Drive them out!” Danielle said bluntly.
“I’m sorry. I’ll have to ask you to stop here.” Four security guards blocked Dayanara and Alberto’s path.
“What do you mean? I’m Design Director of the Group, and now you are telling me that I can’t go in there?” Dayanara said angrily.
Danielle sneered with disdain, “Dayanara, don’t forget that you’ve made a big mistake on the project of World King. You’ve screwed it up, and you will no longer be the director. I have already given your position to someone else. There is no place for you at the Jewelry Fair anymore.”
“Of course, if the two of you want to broaden your horizons, you can stand here and watch. But stop dreaming about taking the VIP seats!” Danielle said coldly.
“Why did you give our seats to others?” Dayanara questioned.
“Director Louis, you are in charge of planning the Jewelry Fair. Please explain it to them.” Danielle waved her hand, and a middle-aged man wearing a formal suit slowly walked over.
“Director Dayanara, oh, forgive me, Ms. Dayanara, as the organizer of this exhibition, I formally inform you that you and your husband’s seats in our VIP area have been cancelled. The two of you are no longer qualified to enter the venue,” Director Louis said with a smile, but his tone was evidently sarcastic.
“You guys are going too far!” Dayanara said angrily as she clenched her fists tightly.
She did not expect that Danielle would act beyond authority and remove her position as the design director. What was more, Danielle even stripped her right to enter the venue!
Dayanara knew that Director Louis was under the protection of Executive Director—Connor. He was a core member of Connor’s team within the Group.
Director Louis was actually Director of the planning department. Coincidentally, he was in charge of organizing this jewelry exhibition, also of arranging the VIP seats.
“You can get lost now. There are no seats for you. Go home and wait for the notice of dismissal,” Danielle said bluntly. She was extremely complacent.
“Who are you to say that?” Alberto finally spoke up. He turned to Director Louis and said, “Director Dayanara is still in office. She is indispensable to the progress of this jewelry exhibition. You canceled her seat, but can you shoulder the responsibility if the Jewelry Fair was delayed?”
“Are you joking?” Director Louis said mockingly with a disdainful expression, “You don’t have a share in the Jewelry Fair anymore! You actually lost the design and the product! Why did you say that Dayanara was indispensable to the Jewelry Fair? Interesting. I’ve never heard such a thing.”
“What the hell! You take yourself too seriously, don’t you? Without Dayanara, the Jewelry Fair can’t run anymore?” Director Louis said arrogantly without any scruples.
Alberto sneered, “World King has been found. Are you sure you want to stop us?”
“World King is the highlight of the Jewelry Fair. If the exhibition is delayed because of you, what will you do then as just a planning director?”
“You loser! How dared you say that? Am I just some director?” Director Louis was furious. He looked at Alberto coldly, “Security, get this person out of here!”
Alberto took out a glass crystal box in front of them, but he didn’t open it.
“World King is here,” Alberto looked at Director Louis and said, “Director Louis, can you take the responsibility for delaying the publicity period of this piece of jewelry?”
“I really can’t understand. Why would you, the director of the planning department, cancel the seat of Dayanara, who is Head of the jewelry design team? You are not the chairman, are you?”
Alberto’s words exploded in Danielle’s and the others’ minds like thunder. They all felt incredulous.
Danielle and Rey’s pupils shrank slightly as they exchanged glances with each other.
Director Louis looked at the crystal box in Alberto’s hand with shock, and also hesitation.
“This…” Director Louis was a little speechless. He didn’t expect Alberto, a notorious loser, to be able to frighten him.
“Get lost!” Alberto said coldly, “Director Louis, I will report to the board of directors about you canceling our seats without authorization.”
Director Louis was sweating. He didn’t have to be afraid before because Connor would protect him. But Jeffery was in charge now. If what Alberto said was true, that World King was indeed found, then he would be in big trouble!
Jeffery was keeping a watchful eye on the company now. Any Mcconnell of the senior management would be decisively replaced if they had just made a small mistake. “I’ll be finished if anything goes wrong this time…” Director Louis said to himself.
“Alberto, do you want us to believe that World King is actually in that rotten box?” Danielle sneered, “What if it’s a fake? You think you can get away?”
“Open it and let us see. If it’s real, I can consider restoring your seats,” Danielle said with a lofty attitude.
Alberto sneered and looked at Danielle.
“Shut up. You don’t deserve to see it.”
“You are only the deputy director of the design department. Your immediate supervisor, Director Dayanara, hasn’t say a word yet. It’s not your turn to speak. Do you know the difference between superiority and inferiority?”
“You!” Danielle’s face turned red with anger as she glared fiercely at Alberto. She was about to explode.
“Why are you so arrogant in front of me, you loser?” Danielle said furiously. The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. Alberto, the trash son-in-law of the Mcconnells, actually have the guts to attack her—the noble Miss Mcconnell! How dared he!
“Business is business,” Alberto said calmly. “As Director Dayanara’s assistant, I have an obligation to remind you who the boss is.”
“Alberto, don’t be so annoying. A director of your family doesn’t make any difference! You are still a dog to me!” Rey scolded Alberto angrily, “You think things are too easy for you, right?”
“I’ll teach you a lesson soon. It won’t be long before you kneel and kowtow before me!”
Facing Rey’s threat, Alberto simply smiled. He didn’t say anything.
“Let’s go.”
Alberto and Dayanara turned around and walked towards the interior of the exhibition hall. Director Louis and the securities did not stop them this time.
Danielle and Rey watched as they entered the venue. They both put on an evil look.
