He will never forget it? What does he mean?
When Nancy is thinking over his words and guessing their implications, Lawrence Ellis sends her a photo again.
It’s a photo of a man’s upper part of body. But his robust and perfect body is depreciated by the bluish scratches on the skin.
Lawrence Ellis: [If you were me, will you forget it?]
Nancy Moore sits in the car trembles with fear, thinking that Lawrence Ellis is going to take revenge on her.
It makes sense. He is a promising youth who just graduated from university and then begins his career as an intern. He has a handsome look and a good character, which makes him popular among women. But he accidently had sex with an old woman, leaving his body being covered with scratches. It must be hard for him to swallow it.
Nancy Moore can imagine Lawrence Ellis’s hatred of her. It’s fucking horrific!
Although Nancy is so scared, she still has to replies his message. She clicks the phone and writes down: [Hmmm, I can pay for your medical fee and spiritual damages.]
What surprises Nancy is that Lawrence Ellis doesn’t reply her message anymore. Nancy Moore stares at her phone for a while. But she doesn’t receive his message, so she texts him again: [I was drunk and I lost my mind, so I really don’t know what I had done. If you are hurt physically and mentally by me, I will compensate you. Just name your price.]
Still, Lawrence Ellis doesn’t reply. Instead, she constantly receive messages from her mother, who is eager to asking her to go back home. Therefore, she has to brush Lawrence Ellis aside and drives home directly.
Before she walks into the house, she hears the shout from her mother, whose voice is full of vicissitudes. “Nancy, your aunt just texted me and told me that she wants to introduce several high-quality men to you. Tomorrow is Saturday and you don’t need to word, so you shall not make excuse. You must have a blind date with one of them tomorrow, understand?
Gosh, it seems that if a woman is still unmarried when she is 28 years old, she will be tagged as a spinster.
“I see.” Nancy Moore replaces her shoes with slippers and walks over to the sofa. Her younger sister, Tammy Moore, who sits on the sofa, hands a bag of crisps to her and says in a low voice, “Elder sister, just now, mom said if you still can’t get married in this year, then we all have to eat vegetables for our meals until you are married. For the sake of stomachs, you’d better find a man as quickly as possible!”
Nancy Moore instantly feels that she cannot stay at home anymore. Her mom is so crazy about her marriage, even to the degree that she would agree her marriage with a man she casually finds from the street.
When they are having dinner, Nancy Moore pretends that nothing had happened and concentrates on enjoying the meal. As for the words of her dad and mom, she agrees politely but then she soon forgets them. Then she walks back to her room.
However, it seems that the God is interested in bothering Nancy during these days. The doorbell rings, and Tammy Moore runs to open the door. Then here comes her excited voice, “Elder sister, a handsome man is coming for you!”
Nancy turns around. She feels that her bloods are re-fluxing at the moment she sees Lawrence Ellis. She is freaked out that her chopsticks fall to the ground with a snapping sound. Her heart also trembles violently.
How did he know where my house is located? Why does he come here?
Lawrence Ellis gives her a charming smile. With a small paper bag at his hand, he walks towards her, saying, “You forgot something. So I bring it over.”
Tammy Moore is an extraordinarily curious person. Before Nancy Moore can react, Tammy takes over the paper bag and open it, saying, “Let me see what it is.”
When they see the G-string with a Peppa Pig on it, Nancy Moore just wants to go to hell immediately. It is too shameful!
“Oh my God! Elder sister, what a special hobby! It’s Peppa Pig! Are you a gangster?” Tammy Moore gives her a silly and meaningful smile. Behind them, her dad and mom are also shocked, as if they had eaten a fly. They stare at Nancy, as if they were looking at a heinous person.
Nancy Moore wrests the G-string from Tammy Moore and shoots a sharp look at Lawrence Ellis, and then she grabs his collar and pulls him outside the house. Behind them, Tammy Moore asks excitedly, “Elder sister, what’s your relationship?”
