“Hey Susan, I hear there will be a transfer student in our class.” Her roommate gossiped in her ears.
Susan Miller sat in the classroom and looked down the game consulting on her phone. “A transfer student in the second semester of the freshmen year? Awesome!” She said perfunctorily.
“What are you looking at? Stop! The transfer student is coming in.” Her roommate poked Susan with her arm.
“The League of Legends (LOL), do you want me to teach you to play? I’m in the Platinum Division…” Susan was persuading her roommate to play LOL with her. Then she raised her head and saw the man by the podium.
His hair is the same as in high school, a little long and curly.
“Girls are not supposed to play such a fighting game.” An old voice flashed by.
“My name is Edward Baron. From today, I will be a student in the class two of Journalism Major. My only hobby is playing games.” His voice sounded a little pure.
“Wow, he looks so good!” It wasn’t just Susan’s roommate were boy-crazy.
Susan felt very disgusted, wondering what they coveted. They even didn’t know the period that Edward and his girlfriend were affectionate with each other in high school.
While Susan narrowed her eyes and looked at the boy-crazy roommate, she suddenly felt someone was looking at her, so she turned around and looked at the man on the podium.
Was he looking at her? No… she was sitting in the bottom row, he shouldn’t see her clearly.
“He is coming to us!” The roommate exclaimed in a low voice.
Edward walked down from the podium and went straight to Susan closer and closer.
Edward walked up to Susan and passed her by, with a soft wind and fragrance swayed her right ear. Susan’s heart almost jumped into her throat.
Then Edward sat behind Susan.
Monitor said a lot on the podium, and finally ended up with that “Okay, the class meeting for the new semester is over. Everyone goes back to the dorm.”
The students dismissed.
Susan felt relieved finally. She went back to the dorm with her roommate immediately.
Gossip people always had countless ways to get news. At eleven o’clock in the evening, Susan’s roommate on the opposite side, Keisey, bounced from the bed, “Susan!”
Susan shook her hand which holding the mouse and said, “OMG! I could kill my rival by myself if you don’t scare me!”
“You and Edward were in a same high school before?” Keisey said
“Yep.” Susan wanted to skip this topic. She felt that she was being interrogated.
Keisey said, “You know him?”
“Oh, how could it be possible? How could I know such a handsome guy?” Susan smiled amorously.
“Do you think I’m an idiot? The person he watched tonight is you! Just tell me immediately what happened between you and him?” Keisey gave her a searching look and said.
“Ah? What did you just say?” Susan focused on the game so much and didn’t listen to her.
“I just said that what happened between you and him.” Keisey said.
“Nothing happened between us. We were just classmate. That’s it.” Susan said.
“But you just said you don’t know him!” Keisey said.
“…” Susan was speechless.
The monitor mentioned everyone in the class group, “I heard that most people in the class play LOL, so let’s go to the internet bar to have a fight.
“Can we possibly gather ten people to play together?” A man asked.
“I heard that Edward Baron is the master in area 1 (an area with the most game master), everyone seized the chance to friend him and rode his coattails.”
Obviously, as soon as Edward was mentioned, this would become a thing.
Before the sunset, the internet bar at the school gate was full of the class two on Friday.
“It’s over, why is Edward on the opposite team? Why do I keep losing even join a custom game of my own class!” The wail of the classmates floating in the internet bar. “The strength difference is too big for there are three girls on our side. Maybe one of them should exchange with Edward.”
Susan’s cell phone quaked. “Come over here.” It’s a ttemporary conversation from Edward.
Susan’s hand shook. Was he calling her?
