In the light of the starlight, Robin could see Sienna’s shadow. She looked at Robin and gestured him to keep silent.
Robin held back his words.
But he soon realized that something happened outside the car. Despite the darkness, figures could vaguely be seen moving under the starlight.
There were about seven people around, and they made their way carefully towards the car.
Since they came here in the middle of the night, their attention must be malicious.
Now that they had found out these people, they didn’t have to pretend they didn’t know them. Anyway, they might not be able to knock Sienna down.
Robin gestured his idea to Sienna, who thought it worked.
They got out of the car. These people apparently were unaware that they had been found.
After Robin came down, they were immediately panicked, and one guy shouted, “Calm down!”
Then the other men calmed themselves.
“Hello, friends!”
Robin greeted to them.
The leader walked to Robin. Seeing that Robin and Sienna didn’t mean to fight with them, he stopped, but he looked warily at Robin.
“What are you going to do? Or you just want to a fight?” Robin asked.
“There’s nothing to say. Since you have found us out, we can only have a fight.”
The man lowered his voice on purpose. But Robin stopped him, “Don’t worry, we won’t get away anyway. I just feel strange that how did you find us?”
“Don’t trouble to know that. We just listen to the orders. Blame yourselves for offending the one you shouldn’t offend.”
Robin asked, “We’ve offended too many people to know which one you’re talking about.”
The man snorted coldly, and said, “Well, then your last hour had come.”
With that, the group of men rushed to Robin.
Robin stepped forward and shouted, “If you don’t tell me, I’ll fight you until you do.”
Robin got blocked by a punch, but Sienna took came to kick the man away.
It was the first time Robin worked with Sienna, but it was more like Sienna was helping him learn the speed and skills of Master Artist realm.
He didn’t know whether the number of Master Artists could only be twelve, but if he kept working with Sienna, he could get more familiar with her and even found a way to deal with Martial Artists.
But Robin soon gave up the thought, as Sienna kicked the man away at quick speed.
The skill and speed were too fast to be mastered.
In a short while, all the men were knocked to the ground.
“Well, can you tell me now?” Robin asked the leader.
But the man refused, “Don’t dream of it. We’ll never sell out our employer.”
Robin chuckled, “I didn’t expect you guys to be so professional, but I wonder whether you will die here without anyone knowing about it.”
But then he changed his tone, “And whoever can tell us who is behind it, he can leave safe and sound.”
“But that’s only one man who can get the chance,” Robin added.
The chief man said with a scornful smile, “We will never do such a treacherous thing.”
But before Robin could say anything, the suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood. He stared back in disbelief. The man standing behind him had stabbed him straight into the heart.
And he died before he could utter a word.
“What are you waiting for? Someone has already made their move,” laughed Robin.
But before he could finish, the other three men were fighting one another.
“You dirty dog.” Sienna spoke coldly to Robin as she saw the three men fighting each other.
Robin didn’t care. “They’re not nice people, and it’s not a pity that they would die,” he said.
Soon, a man won, and he walked up to Robin with injury, “Will you keep your promise?”
Robin nodded. “Sure, it’s not worth it to break my promise for a worthless life.”
Even if Robin was scorning him, the man laughed. That meant he could stay alive.
He did not hesitate to betray his employer.
Robin was confused when he heard what the man said.
Originally he thought it would be the old man, or Master Luo, instead, it was someone he didn’t know.
Robin wanted to ask that his employer wanted to do, but the man didn’t know. Robin didn’t even know whether it was real name.
Helplessly, Robin let him go. After all, he was a man who would keep his words.
But by the time the man left, Sienna looked serious, as if she was thinking about something.
Robin asked, “Do you know who this guy is?”
Sienna shook her head, and did not explain further.
Seeing that she had no intention of talking any more, Robin stopped asking and returned to the car and spent the rest of the night in silence.
Yuer, who slept in the car, was not woken up by the fighting in the mid of the night and thought she had had a good night’s sleep.
They continued their journey. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Everything seemed so monotonous and boring.
Passing through the town, they found a simple hotel where they planned to spend the night.
Yuer looked happy and seemed to have forgotten the sadness of leaving home when she saw that she didn’t need to stay in the car anymore.
And the whole day of journey made them tired, so they returned to the room to rest.
Robin took a hot shower. As the warm water flowed on his skin, he felt extremely satisfied.
After taking the shower, he came out of the bathroom in a towel, and found that Sienna was sitting on his bed.
Robin, of course, wasn’t shocked by being seen half-naked. He was just wondering why Sienna was here.
“Is there something you want to tell me?”
He went to the table, unscrewed a bottle of water and took a sip.
Sienna looked at him, saying, “We need to separate for the rest of the ride.”
