Phil Du turned around and kept paddling his hands on the wall beside him, using the friction to make his body move backward.
Zhan Xiao and the others also heard the order and retreated backward at the same time.
But before everyone had retreated ten meters away, a metal door was closing downwards in the depths of the corridor they had just passed. In most seconds, the metal door would close the entire aisle.
This door would separate them from the troops outside.
“Damn!” Phil subconsciously picked up his rifle and attempted to shoot.

The entire room was in chaos. Upon arriving here, Phil immediately pointed his weapon at the rupture right in front of him.
At the same time, he said to his back, “Jian and Hare go to investigate, Zhan and Joe will cover the rear. And the rest follow immediately, and we’ll move on.”

Jian Stone shouted and pointed his rotating machine gun at the robot with both hands, pulling the trigger.
Simultaneously, the eight arms on the robot’s body lit up red, emitting beams of light like electromagnetic waves.
Gauss bullets kept hitting the robot, and soon it fell apart.
And Jian dodged the electromagnetic beams emitted by the robot.
“Great!”
“Good job!”
Seeing Jian break up the robots, Phil and the others complimented him.
“I have a feeling that Gauss weapons might be their nemesis,” Phil blurted.
“Exactly. Gauss bullets primarily use the magnetic field of electromagnetic waves to produce tremendous destructive power. Maybe the robot just happens to be affected by the magnetic field to the chip, so if they get hit, they could lose their combat power.” Zhan nodded in agreement.
As the top brass of The Hope, we all knew more or less about technology, so the analysis wasn’t too far off.
“Now, it needs to be clear how many robots are on the ships. Are they conscious or unconscious, or have they developed to the artificial intelligence stage!” Phil said.
Everyone nodded.
“We can now dismantle the robot’s chip and take it to the scientists to study. Maybe from the chip, the scientists can analyze the problems.” Joe Shi said.
