Chapter 472 The New Target

Book:My Legendary Husband Published:2024-5-1

Humans realized their weakness after leaving earth, like a child, who had left his parents just now, was helpless in the face of troubles.
“According to our study, we have the last chance, Titan.” Just as people were hopeless, Dasin suddenly said.
“Titan? The satellite of Saturn?” Someone asked.
“Yes.” Dasin pressed the screen, and then the pictures and information about Titan appeared.
“Titan is plentiful with various resources, so we can get energy there to support our travel,” Dasin suggested.
“Our lives just depend on this opportunity, but we don’t know if there are also monsters,” Chase said.
“We have to take the risk. The information we have detected is just referenced. Just discuss if we should do that with risk.” Chase added.
The people there were all silent, but soon they agreed to have a try.
It was the last hope for humans because The Hope would run out of its energy without any supplement.
“Good. The next target is Titan. We have to make it no matter what kinds of dangers we’re going to face!” Chase decided.
“How long can we get there, with our speed now?” Someone asked.
“Not so long. We can get there so fast if we speed with all the energy, but we had better keep a lower speed to reserve some energy and find another place to get some supplements in Kuiper Belt if we fail in Titan.
Of course, it also depends on the luck, because we don’t know much about Kuiper Belt.” Dasin explained.
Kuiper Belt was a round area on the Solar System’s boundary, which was filled with tiny and iced materials, the place most comets came from.
In theory, there should be resources, but it was hard to get.
Chase went to sleep after the meeting. He was too tired.
Dasin and other scientists would do those works, such as making the satellite vehicles and detecting the space.
Humans would send the probe cars and robots to explore the Titan first, and workers then followed after they made sure there was safe.
Chase had slept for so long. As he got up, Cassie came over.
Cassie was ten years old, as time passed by secretly.
“You have to study hard.” Chase touched her head and smiled.
“I will. Dad, Mom said that we’re going to Titan. Is Titan the satellite as small as Moon?” Cassie asked curiously.
She had asked Jayne yesterday, but Jayne couldn’t answer her because Jayne didn’t know much about the universe.
“It’s a satellite, but bigger than Moon. It’s the second-largest satellite in Solar System.” Chase answered.
“Which one is the largest?” Cassie asked.
“Ganymede, a satellite of Jupiter.” Chase smiled.
“Mr. Yun said Jupiter is closer to us, and Ganymede is also the largest satellite, so why don’t we go to Ganymede?” Cassie was curious.
“Because there are no resources we need on Ganymede, and the magnetic field is unstable on it, which will affect the gravity system, so we have to go to Titan,” Chase explained patiently.
Cassie knew more and more as she grew up, and her questions were also more and more.
Chase was so busy, and other family members couldn’t answer Cassie’s strange questions about the space, so Cassie liked to ask Chase.
Though Cassie was young, she was interested in the universe, and always observed the space by telescope.
As the two asked and answered, Jayne came over with meals.
“I heard many people talk about the compensation of the soldiers’ deaths, and people worry about if the new government will indemnify their family members,” Jayne said.
