“Tristan! How long are you going to keep acting like this?”
Aurora could no longer hold herself back from following Tristan, who was in his room. It’s been almost a week since the man who served as chairman of Foxtail Corporations spent all his time just sitting in his room without doing anything.
The man’s business affairs are just doing it. Raphael was confused about handling the tenders that were entered or running and needed a quick time to be completed. Luckily, there is Mario, whose power and expertise can still be relied on.
If not, maybe all clients will run away because they feel disappointed with the results of Foxtail’s work which can be said to be not optimal as usual.
“What exactly happened to you, Tristan quartararo?”
From the direction of the entrance, Aurora immediately walked toward the sofa. Sitting there, right next to the position where Tristan was sitting in silence.
“Should I ask Sophia to come here to see how you are?”
Hearing Sophia’s name being mentioned, immediately Tristan turned his head. He stared at Aurora’s face for a long time, then spoke in an even tone.
“Please don’t bother me, Kimmy.”
“How long, Tristan?” said Aurora. The woman sighed in frustration. It was as if the patience he had cultivated for the past few days had run out. “How long should I not bother you? I really you’re crazy? Just because of a woman, your life is a mess. The company is in chaos. Where is your responsibility as a leader, huh?”
“Aurora!” Tristan’s voice rose. “Enough,” the man said, turning to the woman next to him. “I really don’t want to be bothered at this point.”
“OK, Fine!” Aurora’s expression was visibly disappointed. It’s not an easy matter to make Tristan aware so as not to continue to dissolve in his sadness. I don’t know what else to do so the man can return to his original state.
“You can be sad, Tristan,” said Aurora again. “It’s your right to lament your fate. But can’t you think a bit about the fate of the company? The fate of many people depend on you? If you continue like this, no one can guarantee that next month, next week, the day after tomorrow, or maybe tomorrow Foxtail will go bankrupt. After all, Sophia has already rejected you. With you lamenting your fate like this, there’s not the slightest bit of getting her back to your side. After all, you’re doing yourself a disservice. So please.”
Aurora’s voice was weak, but it sounded emphatic. “Stop this stupid thing of yours. I beg you, Tristan. I really need your help.”
Tristan closed his eyes tightly. He turned back to Aurora. This time, he couldn’t stop hugging her while shedding tears. Hell, if Aurora calls him a crybaby later. Tristan didn’t care one bit. Most importantly, he can express what he is feeling. Reducing the tightness that filled his chest cavity.
“It’s, OK, Tristan. It’s, OK.” Aurora patted Tristan’s shoulder as he continued to strengthen the man. Remembering when Tristan first lost his parents, he was leaning on him. Release the accompanying pain. Aurora remembered how the ups and downs of this man in front of her. “It’s OK, Tristan. It doesn’t matter if a man has to cry. Do whatever it takes as long as you feel more comfortable.”
Aurora long waited for the man to dissolve in sadness. Finally, it gradually became quieter. After being sure that Tristan’s condition was much better, Aurora dared to speak again. “Are you feeling more comfortable now?”
Tristan nodded slowly. “Much better.”
“I’m grateful.” Aurora looked once and breathed a sigh of relief. Standing up, the woman walked to the nightstand and grabbed a glass of water. Take it, then hand it to Tristan to drink. “Hurry up. You’ll be dehydrated from crying too much.”
Aurora said this while holding back a laugh. It’s also funny to see Tristan with a fierce face; now, the man is sobbing like a child.
“What are you laughing at, Aurora?”
Tristan scolded once he understood that his interlocutor looked as if he was secretly mocking.
“I?” point Aurora to herself. “I’m not laughing at anyone,” said the woman.
“You’re not good at lying, Aurora.”
Laughter immediately fell from the lips of the beautiful woman. Sitting back down, she immediately patted one of Tristan’s thighs as he said, “At least I’m glad you’re better than before. I beg Tristan, after this you can return to your normal life. Poor Foxtail been neglected for a few days. Tomorrow Papa will leave for Germany for three days. If you’re still locking yourself in your room, who’s holding the meeting with Winston’s side?”
Tristan took a deep breath and then nodded. What Aurora said was true. It’s time for him to end this sadness. After all, regretting, let alone lamenting about fate, didn’t affect his relationship with Sophia. Foxtail is real and needs help. He must not continue to be selfish by putting aside the interests of many people just because of problems like this.
“Tomorrow I will work as usual,” Tristan said quietly. Aurora immediately turned around. The woman’s face now turned so enthusiastic.
“Are you serious?”
“Yes, Aurora. Like you said too. I can’t stay down like now.”
Aurora gave thanks in her heart. Happy that Tristan was finally able to end the protracted sadness the man was feeling.
“Good. Then hurry up and take a shower. Then do any errands Mario might send you. Remember, Tristan. Life is moving forward. If the past isn’t one bit on your side, it’s better to forget about it.”
Tristan was silent while studying what Aurora said. After the woman came out of her room, she hurriedly took a shower and did what she should have done yesterday.
Meanwhile, when night fell, Aurora, who had just finished eating, suddenly had a guest. When I checked, it turned out that Mario was there who had come with some documents that Tristan might have to check or sign immediately.
“Madam, is Mr. Tristan, there?”
Aurora nodded immediately. “Yes. He’s in the workspace. He’s probably finishing some deadlines right now.”
“Really?” Mario asked as if doubting what he had just heard. After they came back from Dubai, the next day, Mario was having a hard time contacting Tristan. The man’s cell phone until this moment was left dead. While the series of emails that he sent, none of them received a response. That’s why tonight, after coming home from work, he dared to stop by because some work cannot be postponed to be examined directly by his superior.
“Yes,” said Aurora, nodding. “We even had an argument before he finally came to his senses.”
“But fortunately Mr. Tristan is back on the straight path, madam,” Mario joked jokingly. “You must know how dizzy I am handling all the work.”
Aurora laughed. Also feel sorry for Mario, given all the work that Tristan should have handled himself.
“Later, I recommend Tristan or Papa to increase your salary, Mario. You deserve to be appreciated for your dedication to Foxtail all this time.”
Mario smiled happily. Who is not happy to get a salary increase recommendation soon. “Thank you very much, madam. Then I’ll see Mr. Tristan first.”
Aurora nodded. Intending to invite Mario to immediately go up to the second floor, his eyes accidentally read the writing on the map that Tristan’s assistant was carrying. Because he was already curious, he decided to ask again.
“Mario, if I may ask, what is the first document?”
Mario turned. Then check what the woman next to him means.
“Oh, here are the equipment documents for Mr. Tristan and Mrs. Sophia’s divorce case.” Aurora gasped. She didn’t know anything about this news. She wanted Tristan to get a divorce after he got home from Dubai. But he didn’t expect Tristan to be so quick to take care of his and his wife’s divorce. Is this a sign that the marriage between him and Tristan will be held soon?
“Do you know how long it will take until both partners are officially divorced?” asked Aurora curiously.
“According to the lawyer Mr. Tristan appointed, this process can take a maximum of six months. But if there are no problems it usually takes four months. If you want it to be faster, the defendant does not need to be present at every trial. up to three months to officially bear the status of a widower or widower.”
Aurora nodded in understanding. Two to three months is not a long time. He was sure that Tristan would also not be interested in attending the trial that was being held. That means the process can be faster.
“Yes,” said Aurora again. “Then hurry up and catch up with Tristan upstairs before he goes to sleep. Mario hastily walked up the stairs and brought his feet to quickly get to his boss’s office. Knocking twice, he was finally ushered in by the owner of the room. disturbing, mister. There are several urgent documents and need you to check tonight,” Mario said when he entered the room. Without being asked, the man immediately handed over several important documents that Tristan had to check signature.
“Then, two other documents must be re-checked before being declared ready to run. As for this one.” Mario then pointed to a document that he purposely separated. “Documents for divorce and the gift of property made by a notary. You can read it first before it’s legalized.”
Tristan just nodded. His hand was outstretched, more interested in taking the divorce document between himself and Sophia first. He opened it, then began to read slowly what the notary had written regarding the intentional gift of property. Tristan prepared a special for Sophia.
“As I recall…” Mario continued. “There was a gift given to his ex-wife in the form of a housing unit in the Mayfair district. A 30% share of Beckley, and £25, 000 monthly until Mrs Sophia finds a new partner.”
“Yes, nothing wrong and nothing to deduct. Everything I agree with.”
Tristan then closed the document. Then handed it to Mario.
“So you’re sure you’re going to separate, Mister?”
Tristan nodded. “There’s nothing else I can do, Mario. Sophia wasn’t the least bit interested in getting back together with me. So what can I do now?”
“Too bad,” Mario muttered almost in a whisper. From the look of sadness that Tristan showed, Mario was sure that his boss until this moment was not happy with the decision his wife had made. He himself even regretted this decision. in his own eyes, Tristan and Sophia are a perfect match and complement each other. If only he could do something to thwart this divorce. But either way, everything has already happened.
“It seems that there is no hope for a union anymore. handle it and check it right now, Mario. You wait a minute so I can finish it,” Tristan said and then started doing what his homework was. Meanwhile, Mario just sat quietly while waiting for the man in front of him to finish everything.

“Edward? What are you doing there?”
Sophia scolded when she left the house, and she accidentally met Edward, who seemed to be involved in a conversation with the security guard in charge of guarding the house. Walking closer, Sophia immediately grabbed Edward’s wrist. Asked the man to follow his steps to immediately entered the house.
“What are you doing out there? Why don’t you come right in?” Sophia asked again. “Nothing, Sophia. I was just chatting with your guard. Then you happened to come out and immediately reprimanded me,” Edward explained. The two of them were now in the living room of Sophia’s house. Sitting side by side while having a light conversation.
“This time, what do you want to do to stop by my house?” said the woman. after Sophia’s return from Dubai, Edward visited constantly. The man came to the house almost every day, before or after work. Either bringing flowers, or bringing cake, or heavy food according to Sophia’s taste.
“I just miss you . That’s why I stopped by here,” said the man with a smile.
“You chump,” Sophia chuckled. “How can I miss you, when you just stop by my house every day. Isn’t that an exaggeration?”
Edward laughed at how Sophia protested to him. While stroking Sophia’s flowing hair, he replied to what she had said earlier. “Speaking of living together, how was the divorce process between you and Tristan? Has there been any progress?”
Sophia didn’t answer right away. In fact, she was too lazy to talk about divorce at the moment. Her last meeting with Tristan until this moment still leaves a bad feeling that hasn’t completely disappeared.
“I don’t know. Everything is taken care of by Mario. Finally, he gave the news that it had been submitted, just waiting for the process of checking the completeness of the files. If there are no problems, it might take around four to six months to complete.”
Edward’s brow furrowed. “Isn’t there a quicker way to get things over with?”
Sophia shrugged her shoulders. How could she understand a problem like this?
“I don’t know. But it’s good, we just follow the applicable procedures. Four or six months isn’t a long time, is it?” Edward chuckled and took Sophia in his arms.
“But I can’t wait to marry you, honey. I want to change your name as soon as possible from Geraldo to Cullen.” Then after that, Edward grabbed Sophia’s face trying to land a kiss on the woman’s lips. But, honey. Sophia brushed it off.
“Why, Sophia? What’s the matter with you?” Edward asked, confused. It was unusual for her to act strangely by rejecting him like this.
“Did I do something wrong?” he asked curiously.
“Nothing, Ed. You didn’t do anything wrong,” Sophia answered. “Then? Why did you reject me?”
“I just don’t want to.”
“Or maybe you’re thinking about Tristan right now? Ah, I know. You must regret having to divorce him?” Edward just accused.
“Edward,” Sophia squeaked. “Please, we don’t need to discuss Tristan here.”
“But why, Sophia?” Edward continued to chase, which only made Sophia even more uncomfortable. Seeing the woman beside him just silent, Edward finally came to his senses. Rubbing his face furiously, the man immediately grabbed Sophia’s wrist and looked into her eyes intently.
“I’m sorry, Sophia. I’m really sorry for getting emotional. This happened because I was worried that you would turn away and go back to Tristan. Really, if that happened, I wouldn’t want to,” explained the man honestly.
“That’s why, I can’t wait to make you a wife so that you can freely take care of, protect, and have. I hope you understand how I feel.”
Sophia nodded after hearing Edward’s explanation at length. At the same second, the man next to him immediately embraced. Hugging tightly while whispering.
“I love you, Sophia. I don’t want to part with you one bit.”
