“Edward …”
“Yes, I’m here. How are you? If you call my name, that means you don’t have amnesia, right?”
Not Aurora, except Sophia, but Edward, who Tristan called when he was ultimately 100% awake from his relatively long sleep. After observing for 60 minutes, the medical team finally declared Tristan’s condition was average and excellent.
They have even allowed the family to visit and approach the man. As he entered the room and came to the position where Tristan was lying, the first person the man looked for was his best friend, Edward.
Feeling disappointed, Sophia, standing in the back row, tried to understand. Maybe it was because Edward meant so much to Tristan that what he was looking for was his best friend, or perhaps it was because Sophia had no meaning at all. That was why Tristan didn’t even think about looking for her. Don’t be sad, Sophia. You can’t be jealous of Edward, can you?
“I’m fine, you idiot,” Tristan said. “It’s a loss if I get amnesia.”
Jacob and Nicholas immediately laughed. Because when Tristan opened his eyes, he dared to curse Edward, it meant that his condition was confirmed to be okay.
“Thank God you’re okay. Honestly, we were so worried about you,” Jacob said with a smile.
Heartbroken after three days in a coma, Tristan finally wakes up in a stable condition. Very stable. It was true what Edward often said. Among the four, Tristan had proven to be the strongest physically and mentally.
“Tristan, I’m so grateful that you finally woke up in good health as before,” said Nicholas, full of emotion. The man slowly hugged because he missed his best friend, who had been in a coma for a few days. These few days, he went back and forth to join Edward is visiting his best friend. “So that you know, Edward couldn’t stop crying seeing your condition because of this accident. He was even the first to visit when he found out you had an accident. Really sweet. His behavior has beaten your own wife.”
“Don’t brag so much Nicholas!” Edward exclaimed in disgust. Slightly stepped closer to Nicholas, pulled the man’s body, and then brought his hand to silence his best friend’s mouth, who was making fun of him. While Nicholas immediately fought back. He immediately tried to slap Edward’s wrist and then tried to speak again. Their demeanor is no doubt very similar to that of a child.
“I’m telling the truth. Edward was even at a party in Birmingham on the night of the incident with the women. He was willing to postpone his pleasures and then drove his own car for hours when he heard you were in an accident. I’m the only one in London who can see you the next morning. Look how considerate your best friend is.”
“Wait! Wait.” Jacob was heard interrupting Nicholas. He seemed to want to explain what he had just heard. “Edward to Birmingham for a party? With the ladies? Aren’t you kidding, Rich?” said Jacob with a severe expression as he looked at his best friend’s face.
“By God, I could swear I wasn’t lying.” Nicholas nodded as he raised his right hand, indicating that he meant what he said. “Edward himself told me that he wanted to have fun with the women that night. He even asked me to go out with him. That’s why, don’t ever believe it when Edward says he’s mourning a broken heart. I’m sure it’s all bullshit.”
“Nicholas, my God, my God!”
Edward shouted angrily this time. He was very upset that he was constantly humiliated by his best friend at every opportunity. It was hard to ask Nicholas to keep a secret. But somehow, he was so stupid that he always talked to the same person.
Edward even turned to look at Sophia, fearing that Nicholas’ words would swallow up the woman and then think of him. Seeing Tristan, who was so comfortable with the presence of his friends, Sophia chose to go out while accompanying her father, who wanted to get ready to go home. Even Aurora did the same. They both decided to give Tristan space first to enjoy his time without being disturbed.
“But whatever it is…” Jacob continued his conversation with Tristan, who still seemed to be listening. “We’re all grateful that you’re doing well. I personally hope that you’ll recover soon and be able to return to your normal activities. Foxtail needs you right now.”
Tristan, who was lying down, seemed to nod. He was assuring all the sincere hopes that his best friend raised.
“I hope so too. Besides, my injuries aren’t that bad. Maybe after three days of complete rest, I can go home soon.”
“Are you sure?” Edward asked to confirm. “So you know, you’ve been in a coma for days because you previously had serious bleeding. If you haven’t fully recovered, you should rest in the hospital,” Edward suggested. In every sentence, he was worried about his friend’s condition.
“I’m fine.” Tristan refuted his friends’ concerns in a low voice. “The doctor even said the open wound that had left me with blood loss was stitched up properly. There wasn’t the slightest problem there. Besides, I didn’t break a bone like a normal accident victim.”
Jacob, who was standing beside Nicholas, nodded. Reaching out, the man gently stroked Tristan’s shoulder.
“Whatever it is, I wish you the best. If you need anything, feel free to tell me.”
“Me too,” said Nicholas. The man also chimed in with what Jacob had said earlier. “Never hesitate to ask for help. I’m always ready anytime you need my help.”
While Edward, standing in the other corner, seemed to chuckle softly at the behavior of his two friends, muttering. “You’re looking for a face! You two make small talk too much. But, Tristan …” reprimanded the man after that. “By the way, if you need a guard or bodyguard to look after and watch over your wife, I’m happy to be ready to do it. Don’t worry, this service is free. I don’t have to charge anything.”
Nicholas rolled his eyes in exasperation. Immediately punched Edward’s arm to hearing what the man had just said in front of all of them.

“Eat a lot to get your energy back. Whatever you need, you can call me anytime.”
Sophia could see how Aurora was enthusiastic about caring for and accompanying her on the second day after Tristan woke up. The beautiful woman was sitting on the side of the bed while slowly feeding her husband food.
Sophia believes that Tristan is very comfortable with what Aurora is doing. Sophia’s position is very close to the two.
However, Tristan did not believe in the slightest regard for his presence. In fact, not even looking at him at all. Sick? Disappointed? Of course. Any woman would be sad to see her husband more comfortable with other women than herself. But in Tristan’s case, it seems Sophia should understand. She was well aware that the man married her not for love. But because of ambition and revenge alone.
Realizing this, Sophia felt as if she had been slapped by reality. She should have realized that the two could never be united no matter how hard he tried.
“Because your food is finished. Now it’s time for you to go back to rest, ” Aurora said, gently stroking Tristan’s lips with a napkin after the man finished his meal.
Aurora looked happy because Tristan showed better progress on the second day after coming to her senses. The man can now sit up straight, though not for too long.
“Can you help me to change clothes?” Tristan asked Aurora. “Looks like the clothes I’m wearing are a bit damp from sweat.”
Aurora nodded and then walked out of the room to ask the nurse for a change of clothes. At that moment, Sophia, who overheard the conversation between the two, took the initiative to help. She immediately found a dry towel in the suitcase to wipe his husband’s skin first to keep it in a state before changing clothes.
Walking forward, Sophia approached the position where Tristan was lying. Smiling confidently, she tried to reach Tristan’s body, intending to help replace the clothes the man was wearing.
“Let me help you undress,” Sophia offered gently.
However, instead of agreeing, Tristan shifted his body as if away. At that moment, the man flatly refused what his wife provided.
“Never touch my body, Sophia.”
“But, I just—” “Get out of my sight right now!” Tristan said in a slightly raised voice.
“Tristan, I beg you,” Sophia squeaked apologetically. “I just wanted to help you. Nothing more.”
“AURORA!” call Tristan immediately. “Aurora, for God’s sake, where are you?”
From the direction of the door, Aurora was seen rushing to carry a change of clothes in her hand.
The woman thought something dangerous had happened to Tristan until the man called her name repeatedly. When he got to the room, he saw another fact.
“What’s the matter, Tristan? Did something happen to you?” asked Aurora worriedly. She immediately walked over.
“Get this woman away from me right now!” Tristan pointed at Sophia’s face.
“Tristan —”
“Aurora, you heard what I said, right?”
Aurora nodded fearfully. Forcefully approached Sophia and whispered, asking her to obey her husband’s request.
“Sophia, I’m sorry. You heard yourself that —”
“It’s, Okay,” Sophia interrupted, nodding. “I will comply with Tristan’s request to leave. Please continue what he has asked you to do.”
Following Tristan’s orders, Sophia immediately grabbed her cellphone, which was on the table, and then slowly walked out of the room. Through the glass of the door, she could see how Aurora was slowly helping Tristan undress-wiping the little body of the husband. Then hse tapped his chest, back, and up to Tristan’s arms with the towel she had prepared.
At the same time, her husband seemed silent, enjoying. Not the least uncomfortable or awkward to receive all the gentle treatment from the woman who likes him. Just after Tristan fell asleep, Aurora came out of the room to call Sophia. She asked the woman to go in immediately and rest in the room with him.
“You can catch a cold if you’re outside too long, Sophia. Come in and rest.”
“But Tristan will get mad if I come back in,” Sophia said fearfully.
Honestly, for now, she doesn’t want to find a thing with her husband. It’s better to let Tristan focus on resting so that he can recover quickly and return home.
“You don’t have to think about it, Sophia.” Aurora is soothing. “The important thing is that for now, we are all resting together. While Tristan is also sleeping. Even if he wakes up and is angry, ignore him. There’s no need to take it to heart.”
Sophia nodded in agreement. The woman followed Aurora’s advice to get some rest. The two chose to sit together on the guest sofa, took a comfortable position, and slowly began to close their eyes.
I don’t know what time it was. Sophia suddenly woke up feeling like going to the restroom. Blinking repeatedly, she tried to gather all consciousness. Straightening up, Sophia found Tristan, who was awake and struggling to reach a drinking glass on the nightstand located right next to the bed.
Stupid Sophia, she’s too kind. Without thinking about it, she took the initiative to get up immediately and then rushed to try to help. It didn’t even cross her mind that Tristan would do the same thing as before.
“Let me help.” Sophia reached for the glass Tristan was trying to get. Then casually handed it over to her husband.
“Drink. If you need anything, you should wake one of us up.”
Tristan nailed Sophia’s sparkling blue bead. Without saying a word, he continued to stare intently at the woman he was talking to. Sophia thought her husband would drink soon after taking the glass he was thrusting for granted. But it turned out that Sophia was wrong. Instead of drinking, Tristan consciously splashed the water in the mirror right into his wife’s face until the woman was shocked.
“Tristan!” Sophia said in a slightly raised voice. “What did you do to me?”
Tristan narrowed his eyes. Not the least bit concerned with what happened to the woman in front of him.
“Who told you to help me?”
“For God’s sake, I just wanted to do what I could. Why do you have to act like this.”
“But who needs your help, Sophia? Are you deaf? I’ve even kicked you out several times before!”
Aurora, who had been sleeping, couldn’t help but wake up after hearing the noise of a man’s voice she knew. While rubbing her still sticky eyes, Aurora rushed closer and tried to calm her down.
“Tristan, Sophia, what’s wrong?” she asked, confused.
“Aurora!” Tristan turned as he called the woman’s name. “I told you I don’t want to see him here. Why did you even let him sleep in this room?”
“Tristan calm down,” Aurora pleaded. “There’s no need to shout like this. Remember your condition hasn’t fully recovered yet,” Aurora coaxed slowly while trying to calm the man in front of her.
“Not!” flatly refused Tristan. “I won’t rest until this woman leaves me.”
“Tristan, please …” Sophia whispered, almost crying. It’s so sad to be kicked out like this. “I just want to accompany you nothing more—”
“SOPHIA ENOUGH!”
Right after that sentence was thrown out, Tristan reflexively held his chest, which suddenly throbbed in pain. The bruises he suffered were painful to the point of piercing his spine. Aurora and Sophia were made to panic.
Seconds later, she immediately called the doctor to check on Tristan’s condition, who seemed to be in more pain.
“How about it, doc?” asked Aurora when the doctor had finished examining Tristan’s situation. “Did something dangerous happen to the patient?”
The doctor shook his head slowly.
“No need to worry. This is just a kind of response from the patient’s internal organs. We have injected painkillers. Maybe in 30 minutes the patient’s condition will return to normal and can continue to rest peacefully.”
Sophia, who listened to the doctor’s explanation, immediately breathed a sigh of relief. She almost cried because she was worried that something terrible would happen to her husband.
“Aurora,” Sophia called after the doctor left in front of the two of them. “I’d better go home. Maybe Tristan can rest in peace or even recover soon if I’m not here.”
“Don’t say things like that, Sophia. You have the right to accompany her.”
“Not.” Sophia shook her head weakly. “I’ll just go home. I’ll take care of and take care of Tristan. If anything goes wrong, you can call me immediately. I’m waiting for you to come home.”
After briefly hugging Aurora’s body, Sophia immediately chose to walk away from the hospital. She was bringing home thousands of pains due to all the rough deeds that her husband still does.
