“Sure. I’ll offer you if there is an appropriate one.” Chase smiled.
Shell always humiliated Chase, and what was more, she even led another man to date his wife. Chase didn’t want to care about Shell anymore, so how could Chase offer her a job?
Shell’s face turned sullen. She knew Chase was deliberate.
Not only she but also all of them knew Chase was deliberate.
But no one helped Shell.
They all saw how Shell treated Chase. Chase was kind enough not to be rude.
After they had lunch, they made their way to QJ County. They had to rebuild the grave for Doug’s father-in-law.
“Wow! Chase! Your car is so awesome! How much is it?” Jeannie admired Chase’s Steinway so much when she saw it.
“About three million. It was sent by others since my car was broken by someone.” Chase explained. He didn’t want Jayne to misunderstand, because Jayne knew that this car was from Reba Chen.
Jayne glanced at Chase and didn’t say anything. She also thought Chase might have no relationship with Reba Chen.
They drove two cars. Doug, Jeannie, and Cassie were sitting in Chase’s car, while Shell sat in Jayne’s car. In Doug and Jeannie’s eyes, Chase was promising now.
Especially Doug thought Chase was his good son-in-law, who even would better than a son.
“Chase. If I work well, can I have a bonus?” Jeannie was still regretful, so she planned to get the money with other names.
Chase smiled. He knew Jeannie’s feelings. “Of course you can, but there will also be a loss if you work badly. So it’s all up to you if you can become a manager and get a high salary.”
Jeannie was unpleasant, so she didn’t speak anymore, but just played with Cassie all the time.

Wang’s family in QJ County was just an ordinary family.

But the narrow road to Wang’s house had been blocked.
“We walk to there, and park cars here.” Doug proposed.
“OK.” Chase nodded and then parked the car by the road.
In such a little county, people had seen a few luxurious cars, so they came around and pointed at Chase’s car, discussing.
Jayne also parked the car behind Chase’s car. Shell and Doug led them to the road. People around them recognized Shell Wang and greeted her warmly because of the two cars.
Shell felt her vanity was filled, walking with joys.
“Oh! Aunt Shell, and uncle Doug! You’re finally here. And Jayne, Jeannie, and Chase.”
As they got to Wang’s house, they saw an eighteen-year-old girl came over.
“Helena. Where are you going?” Shell asked.
It was Helena, Shell’s third brother’s daughter, Shell’s niece.
“I’m going to buy something.” Helena intended to hug Cassie, but Cassie was shy with strangers, so Cassie didn’t let her hug.
“Aunt Shell. You go in first. I have to go.” Helena then left.
They came into the yard and greeted Shell’s mother.
The old lady was glad much to see them.
In her seventies, she was about to die, so she was so happy to see her daughter.
It was the first time for the old lady to see Cassie. She held Cassie in her arms. Cassie was afraid initially, but soon Cassie became calm and called the old lady grandmother, making the old lady pleasant.
Shell and her two daughters stayed at home, while Doug brought Chase to the hill where his brother-in-law’s grave was.
The hill was close to Wang’s house. Now Doug’s two brothers-in-law were leading some men to move the stones.
“Uncle Jordan. Let me do it.” As Chase saw Jordan Wang be hard to move a heavy stone, he hurriedly went over to help.
The gravestone was almost 160g, Jordan was not mighty, so it was hard for him to carry it.

“Does my sister come with you?” Jordan took the cigarette and asked.
“We all come there.” Doug went to Kemp Wang with cigarettes.
“Kemp. Have a cigarette, and take a rest.” Doug proposed.
Kemp nodded. He wiped the sweat and then took the cigarette.
Others were all Wang’s neighbor, so they all knew Doug. They took the cigarettes, as well.
“This is…” They saw Chase was mighty, so they asked Doug with curiosity.
“My good son-in-law, Chase Lu.” Doug smiled.
“Chase. This is your uncle Kay, your uncle Tad, and your uncle…” Doug introduced those people to Chase.
Chase greeted them one after another, humble and polite.
