“Mr. Lu. What are you busy these days?” Bain Chen asked.
“Nothing else, but just sending and picking up my daughter, and then cooking.” Chase smiled.
His answer made Ida Lei hate him more.
What a coward! Ida had never heard that a man stayed at home to do housework and let his wife work for money.
“Wow! Are you capable of cooking? You should cook for me if I visit you later.” Bain said with surprise.
Ida was shocked more. Did some water come in this younger young lady Chen’s brain?
Chase already said he had a wife and a daughter, so why did Bain still get such close to Chase?
Did she fall in love with this coward?
“Just some home cooking, you may not like them.” Chase smiled.
He knew that such silver-spoon kid like Bain always ate a feast for the gods, so they might not like the home cooking for ordinary people.
Ida thought it right. The home cooking was for the ordinary people, so how could Bain eat the feast for ordinary people?
“It’s better to change a taste sometimes.” Bain blinked her bright eyes.
Chase smiled and then went to the drink stand. The waiters there were warm to Bain. Obviously, Bain often spent money here.
“The usual? Young Lady Bain?” The waiter directly asked Bain, ignoring Chase, who stood before Bain.
Bain nodded and then turned toward Chase. “Mr. Lu. What would you like?”
“Just a cup of ice water.” Chase didn’t like drinking drinks. He always preferred the boiled water or tea, of course, ice water for summer.
The waiter sneered in his heart. How could this bumpkin only order ice water here?
But he didn’t dare to say anything. This bumpkin was with young lady Chen, and young lady Chen only asked him but not the beauty behind, revealing his special position in Chen’s heart.
“Is this guy a big shot? But his clothes are ordinary.” The waiter wondered.
“Bain. I have to pick up a friend.” Ida answered a call and then said to Bain.
Bain nodded. Since she met Chase before, she hah said few words to Ida, paying all her attention to Chase.
Ida went out and saw a luxurious car stop by the road. She trotted to the car and peered at the man in it with admiration.
It was her beloved man, Hay Luo.
“Hay. Would you please come with us?” Ida requested.
“Quickly tell me your intention. I’m busy now.” Hay looked impatient. Hay had to come here on such a hot day because Ida sent messages endlessly.
Hay liked Ida before, but he just wanted to play with her. Since he found Ida was serious, he ran away quickly.
Lei’s family was wealthy and had a powerful backer, Chen’s.
But Hay was so reluctant to get married at such a young age.
What was more, he was handsome and wealthy, so he could play with many girls. He was unwilling to be controlled by a specific woman.
Ida was upset for Hay’s tone, but to stay longer with him, Ida still proposed. “Come on. Bain is also there.”
She knew Hay liked Bain, but Bain didn’t give him any chance. Though Ida felt jealous about this, she had to keep Hay staying.
“Well, I’m thirsty, as well. Let me have a drink there.” Hay’s eyes turned bright.
“Oh, a coward is there, too. Bain called him here. I don’t understand her intention to invite a coward to have lunch.” Ida was afraid of Hay’s misunderstanding.
“What coward? Who?” Hay was anxious. Was it Bain’s new boyfriend?
“It’s my classmate’s brother-in-law, named Lu… I can’t remember it. He is doing housework at home and let his wife work for money.” Ida said.
“Yes, this kind of man is really a coward.”
Hay took a breath of relief. He didn’t care about somehow coward, as long as it was not Bain’s new boyfriend.
Indeed, Hay didn’t want to get married yet, but it was for some girls like Ida.
If he could marry Young Lady from Chen’s family, he would be willing to get married even tomorrow.
“Oh, Hay. I think that coward has some ugly desires on Bain since he stays with Bain all the time.” Ida intended to put some fuel into the fire.
It was an evil-minded, but a quite useful plan. Ida had found Bain’s special attitude towards Chase, but Hay didn’t know it.
Hay liked Bain so much, so he would definitely humiliate Chase. Thus Bain would hate Hay, even breaking up the relationships with him.
By that, Ida would have more opportunities to seduce Hay without the distraction from Bain.
“Humph! How dare a coward to have desires on Bain? Arrogant!” Hay snorted.
“But, there is always someone who can’t know clearly about himself.” Ida provoked.
“Oh? So I’ll teach him how to know clearly about himself.” Hay said coldly and then strode to the drink stands.
Ida sneered and followed Hay in to watch the play.
But, as she went in, she was stupefied by the sense.
She couldn’t believe her eyes!
