Walking out of the bank, the bald man and the other robbers looked hopeful when they saw the van.
They didn’t know if there would be an ambush and didn’t know if the sniper would ignore Chase’s safety and attack them.
But they overthought.
To protect Chase, Jonas had sent two vans to trail behind.
Robbers drove to the suburb as soon as they got in the car.
The car was under surveillance before leaving the suburbs. Still, its location was soon lost due to the lack of surveillance video after leaving the suburb.
Even the two cars sent by Kerry couldn’t track the van.
The bald man drove the van and then stopped at a villa.
The bald said to Chase, “I admire your courage and your calmness. I could have let you go, but the police won’t let us go. We have no choice.”
The robbers indeed wanted to do another big deal before leaving Jol City. They found the police cared about Chase and Janie, giving them a chance to take advantage.
Chase shrugged and said nothing, while Janie felt nervous. She knew the robbers won’t let her and Chase go. But after hearing what they said, Janie felt worried and afraid.
They were dealing with robbers.
Janie was a beautiful young lady. And she was afraid that something terrible might happen to her.
At this moment, the robber who held Janie touched her body intentionally.
She knew the robber did so on purpose.
“Hare, do you think I’m a pussy? I will show you something fierce.”
A man’s deep voice echoed.
“Bald, if you shoot at me, your trip to Jol City this time would be meaningless,” another man yelled.
A middle-aged man of about 1. 7 meters came out from the villa.
“Boom!”
A gunshot sounded, and the man who had just walked out of the villa snorted and fell.
The man attracted the four bald men’s attention, and Chase took this chance to broke the rope that bounded his hands with his strength.
The robber who was holding Chase noticed and pointed his gun to Chase abruptly.
Chase clasped the robber’s wrist quickly and took the pistol from the robber’s hand.
The robber punched Chase’s face with his hand, while Chase leaned his head and hit the robber’s face with an elbow.
With a click, the robber’s nose was broken by Chase.
The robber squatted down, clutching his nose.
In a flash, the three bald men fired the gun at Chase.
Chase reacted quickly and jumped up sideways, still in the air, and shot the three men.
One of the three reacted, lying down to the side to avoid the bullet, while the other two men weren’t so lucky and were shot in the chest and fell into a pool of blood.
Janie hurriedly hid behind the van and cut the rope on her hands.
Fortunately, the robber didn’t tie her hands behind, or it would be more troublesome.
Chase hid behind the van, helping Janie untie the rope on his hands and looking for the bald man.
The bald ran into the villa, and Chase pulled the trigger without hesitation.
“Boom!”
The bald was shot on back and fell, was injured, and crawled to the villa’s door.
“What’s happening outside?”
Several men stared at the bald man and asked him hurriedly.
They heard the gunshot and was too afraid to go outside.
The bald man said, “Damn, we failed. I thought the two hostages were cops. We were deceived by them.”
A tall and strong man frowned and questioned, “You failed? And took cops as hostages?”
The bald explained, “In that situation, we have to, or we will all die.”
They nodded and understood what happened.
The strong man asked, “How many of them?”
The injured man replied, “Two. One man and one woman. We don’t know anything about the woman, but the man is hard to handle.”
The strong man ordered, “Kill them first. I think we have been exposed.” He gave another man a look who nodded and fired a shot outside and moved to the other side of the gate, taking the opportunity to take a look.
There was quiet outside. The bald head turned back and nodded to other men. Together they sneaked to the door with guns in their hands.
A man who came first whispered, “I don’t see them. They are behind the van.”
The strong man talked to a young man with yellow hair, “Big cat, you lure them out, and we shot them.”
The young man nodded and fired a shot outside, rushing out after nothing happened.
He fired twice at the van at the moment he leaped out.
The strong man and the other three men rushed out of the door and fired at the van.
In the next moment, Chase and Janie raised their heads behind the wall next to the door and fired several shots at them.
Chase and Janie caught the robbers in surprise, and they were shot before realizing what happened.
Janie turned to Chase and praised, “Nice work!”
Chase smiled and said, “You too.”
Chase found their phones and threw Janie’s phone to her.
The robbers were shot but didn’t die. Chase and Janie needed to clear this mess up.
