Chapter 68 Revenge

Book:My Legendary Husband Published:2024-5-1

“I’ve offended someone I can’t offend?”
Gary was puzzled. Who had he offended in Jay Sis Technology?
“Gary, should it be Chase Lu? You see him talking with Mr. Chris before.” Terrell whispered.
“No, it shouldn’t be him. Even if he knows Mr. Chris, he couldn’t be a decision-maker for Jay Sis Technology.” Gary shook his head. He couldn’t believe Chase was involved.
But how could Chase know Mr. Chris?
“Terrell, I need Chase’s information. I think this guy is uncommon.” Gary ordered.
“OK, but how about the projects from Jay Sis Technology? What an excellent opportunity it is to get a promotion.” Terrell was still hoping Gary to help him get some contracts from Jay Sis, so Gary’s disqualification was also a big blow for him.
“Don’t worry about that. I’ll handle it.” Gary shook his head.
Gary planned to ask for his uncle’s help. As long as he could know who he had offended, he would go to apologize. If the person could forgive him, he would participate in the projects again.

“Chase, did you see their shocked faces just now? It’s funny.” In the car, Larry was excited.
“Just some small ants, I don’t want to care about them,” Chase said.
“Well, I didn’t take them in my eyes years ago, as well.” Larry agreed.
Larry’s family was quite wealthy before, so he had the capital to look down on those ants.
“How pitiful. I’m so stupid to care about a b*tch… My father wouldn’t die if I didn’t do that.” Larry was in sorrow.
“Let it go. We shall make mistakes when we grow up. As long as we have hopes, tomorrow will eventually come.” Chase comforted Larry.
“You’re right. I’ve realized this already. No matter how terrible mistakes I’ve made, I should keep my life first.” Larry nodded.
“Ask for a resignation tomorrow, and them wait for my call.” Chase sent Larry to Larry’s house and then promised to him.
“Alright. I’m going back. Let’s have a drink later.” Larry nodded.
Chase nodded. After Larry left, Chase took out the phone.
“Phil, do you know some about Wang’s family?” Chase asked Phil Du.
As Larry’s good friend, Chase didn’t say much in Larry’s face, but it didn’t mean he would endure other’s bullying on Larry.
“Wang’s family in the north of our city? It’s quite powerful, with an asset of about one billion yuan. It’s one of the Four Families.” Phil answered.
“Alright, how about your situation,” Chase asked.
“It’s stable now. Why do you ask about Wang’s family? You want to make trouble for them? You’d better stop your idea. We can’t fight against them now.” Phil persuaded.
“I’m going to destroy Wang’s family. Just do it. I never act without plans.” Chase said firmly.
“Did they offend you? Phil asked.
“No, but they made my friend’s family ruined, so I have to avenge my brother,” Chase explained.
“Alright. Your brother is also my brother. So let’s do it, and meanwhile, let them know that I’m back!” Phil was cheered up.
Chase hung up the phone, and then called the Three Lions.
“Young Master Lu…” Hale said with fright. The most thing he was afraid of now was to answer Chase’s phone.
“Follow Phil’s words in the future. Do whatever he orders.” Chase ordered.
“Yes, young master.” Hale took a breath of relief—he could accept everything as long as his subordinates didn’t offend Chase Lu.
As Chase got home, he received Jayne’s phone call. Cassie fell asleep in her grandfather’s home, so they wouldn’t come back today.
Chase didn’t have to send Cassie to school the next day, so he stayed on bed late.
When he was ready to get up, Hayes called him.
To stage a comeback, Jarrod Hu had to compromise.
He decided to negotiate with Chase.
Jarrod agreed to Chase’s offer to purchase the supermarket, but Chase should stop attacking their brand, and allow Hu’s family to prevent the rumor.
Most importantly, Chase couldn’t suppress them in the future if they didn’t offend Chase.
Chase knew their meanings. They still wanted to do business with their brand in Jol City. If Chase was merciless, he could make their brand worthless.
But Chase was generous, and it was indeed not a great hatred between him and Hu’s family, so it was no need to do too much.
Chase agreed to sign the contract. From now on, Chase became the owner of a supermarket.
Hu’s family had bought the building with more than 50, 000, 000 yuan but sold it to Chase for only 10, 000, 000 yuan.
But to protect the brand, Jarrod had to compromise.
After all, he had the responsibility to raise up a trouble-maker.
Standing in front of the supermarket, Jarrod was so depressed.
“Let’s go. Be careful in the future. Don’t offend someone casually, especially that devil, Chase Lu.” Jarrod scolded Hayes.
“Dad, I’m sorry.” Hayes had said sorry for so many times. He was indeed regretful, but things couldn’t be changed since they had happened.
Jarrod sighed and then got in the car.
