A soft knock came by.
“Come in,” Emily said and quickly dry her eyes, she has been crying due to something she has in mind, something that made her regret.
Abigail already left her so she was alone.
Delorna entered the room with two maids with her and two guards.
“Delorna, what are you doing here?” Emily asked.
“Oh hey, are you feeling better? Wait, you are crying about what happened.” Delorna replied.
“Why are you so worried about me?” Emily asked.
“Because you are pregnant and you shouldn’t be worrying yourself else you will hurt the innocent baby,” Delorna answered.
“I treated you so horribly.” Emily sniffed.
“I was so lost in getting Alpha Jefferson to love me But I realized that you are the one he deserved to love, you cared about everyone, even your enemies, I so much hate myself for what I did to you,” Emily added.
“Hey stop crying okay, if you keep on crying the baby will be sad and you know I don’t want that to happen, I want you to give birth safely okay, that’s why I brought these two maids for you so they will be taking care of you, and for the two guards to be protecting you, you don’t worry about anything, I will inform Jefferson and he will hire a doctor that will be taking care of you,” Delorna explained.
Emily wiped her tears.
“I don’t know what I did to deserve this, this is too much Delorna.” Emily weep.
“No, it’s not, and if you need anything, just let me know okay, I want you to be fine and comfortable,” Delorna added.
Emily Hugged her.
“Thank you so much,” Emily said.
Delorna wiped her tears.
“You welcome, stop crying okay, I will check on you tomorrow,” Delorna replied and headed out.
*
“What! Are you fucking kidding me?”
Abigail asked.
“I’m serious, she was so kind that I can’t even believe it, Delorna’s kindness is beginning to change my mind about her, I can’t afford to hurt her now,” Emily answered.
“I also didn’t know she is this kind, now what are you going to do? Are you gonna tell her the truth?” Abigail asked.
“I’m so scared I don’t want to,” Emily answered.
“But we can’t hide it forever, the Truth will surely come out, I feel really bad for disrespecting her,” Abigail said.
“I felt terrible,” Emily replied.

Delorna returned to her room and saw that the dining table has been decorated with different kinds of food.
“Wow!” She muttered.
“Do you like it?” Alpha Jefferson asked appearing from behind, he embraced her from behind.
“Oh my God, I can’t believe you actually cooked for me, it looked delicious,” Delorna said and took a seat.
He served her.
“I can do anything for you,” Jefferson replied.
She took a bite and closed her eyes.
“This tastes great, oh my God.” She exclaimed chewing it.
“I’m glad you loved it.” Jefferson smiled.
“Uhm, yeah, I was just coming from Emily’s room and I found her crying, it’s like she is having a problem she doesn’t want to discuss,” Delorna said.
“Why do you care so much about her? Okay, I know but you can’t just trust her.”
Jefferson replied.
“I think I can, Emily regretted everything she did, she was crying, that’s why I want you to allow me to hire a doctor for her that will be taking care of her till she gives birth, I don’t want anything to happen to the baby,” Delorna said.
“You want to accept the baby?” Jefferson asked.
“Why shouldn’t I? If it’s yours then I will definitely do it, I love everything about you, even what your sperm produced.”
Delorna answered.
He grabbed her hand gently.
“You are the biggest gift the Moon goddess ever gave to me, ask for anything and I will make it happen.”
Jefferson said.
“Okay, remember that you banned those widows from working at the farm? Because it was believed that they were bad luck and they will bring bad luck to the pack?” Delorna asked.
“That happened even before you came, how did you know about it?”. Jefferson answered.
“I do my research, Jeff, I want you to give them another chance, they don’t deserve to be treated like that, it wasn’t their fault that their husbands died, just forget about the damn culture and make them happy, it’s already worse that they lose their husbands and imagine how they were abandoned, they are women like me and everyone else and they do deserve a chance right,” Delorna exclaimed.
“Right, just finish eating and I will pass a law right away.” Jefferson smiled.
She leaned on him.
“Thank you so much, I love you a lot.”
Delorna said.
“And I love you even more.” He replied and kissed her.

WIDOWS CAMP
For the first time in eight years, the widows received an invitation from the palace to meet the Alpha and his Luna at the Royal court.
They were worried about what they will meet there but they had no option but to obey the Alpha’s instructions so they get ready to leave.
*
ROYAL COURT
Alpha Jefferson was seated together with Delorna when all the widows arrived, about thousands of them.
“Greetings to you all.” Alpha Jefferson greeted.
They bowed.
“I know it came all of a sudden and maybe wondering why I suddenly called after eight years, I suddenly realized I was wrong to quarantine you from the people, it wasn’t your fault that your husband’s died, so from now on, I want to remove the banned, I have free you, my Luna talked to me and I decided that all of you will be given a chance to return to the farm to work on fixed salaries weekly for your daily unkept, I don’t want you to feel less of yourself from now on, you are the same with every woman out there, you have my support.” Alpha Jefferson exclaimed and they were so happy, some were even crying out of joy praising and hailing him.
