Belle was much shorter than Allen and was thereby more flexible, she leaped two steps ahead of Allen.
Allen’s face tightened and reached out his left leg trying to trip down Belle, forming a force wind towards Belle’s lower body.
Belle sneered and jumped deftly, successfully avoiding the wind, then kicked out her leg and dropped it hard on Allen’s head.
“What a move!”
Allen shouted out an appraisal and barely avoided the hit by jumping away.
For highly skilled professionals, they only need one strike to gauge the strength of their enemy.
Undoubtedly, from Allen’s view, this seemingly short man was a dangerous wolf, cunning and fierce, whose strike was fast, fierce and precise with great power.
“You’re not bad yourself!”
Belle snapped back, her cold eyes were locked in Allen’s long and deft body.
If Belle was a dangerous and cruel wolf, then Allen was a wild and fierce cheetah, he was waiting for the moment his enemy slacked.
Back and forward, there exchanged twenty attacks but neither of them showed any weakness.
Belle launched herself from the ground and held the wire on the staircase and jumped up to the stairs made from the iron board, at the meantime, Allen wouldn’t give in, he squeezed his dark eyes and reached out his hand trying to grab at Belle.
Belle tried to grab Allen’s shoulder by her backhand, Allen caught her motion in time and slipped his shoulder to the side avoiding her lunge while Belle turned around on the spot, missing his hand, then plunged ahead.
Belle mounted aggressive attacks and kept closing in on him, giving Allen no break at all.
Her speed was too fast and her power was too strong for Allen to take it lightly, Allen’s eyes grew darker and his desire for success was ignited.
Allen’s speed of attack continued to mount, exhibiting a fearless inflexible will, and he launched his attack targeting Belle’s neck.
It startled Belle since she had not thought that he would start an attack. She felt the sudden shift of Allen’s power and she quickly back away, leaning on the wire handrail from behind.
His attacks kept closing in without reducing the power.
With a spark in the eyes, Belle shifted her body aside and rolled over by holding the wire handrail, landing on the exterior of the staircase, then she climbed up a few steps by holding onto the wire with her hands.
Her flexible body was like a quick wind.
Allen’s eyes grew darker and colder, he took out his handgun, with a “bang” he shot down the wire that Belle was holding.
The wire snapped following the sound and Belle fell straight towards the ground.
“Damn it!” Belle cursed and bit on her teeth, her refined face was fierce, she rolled the wire around her wrist in case she slipped down.
Her body managed to use the momentum from falling and swung to the target hall from the other side on the second floor.
Three times she swung until she was finally able to catch the column on the hall.
With a glimpse, she saw that Allen was nearly arriving at the top of the staircase, casting a fierce look, she spun the SPP handgun to target at Allen and shot at him with a “bang”.
Allen felt the danger and jumped backward in time to avoid the bullet, which slowed down his climbing.
Within a second, Belle climbed upward like a wall gecko and was soon over to the other side of the fence.
“Bang”, Allen shot at Belle again but Belle was able to dodge it with a shift of the body. Belle hurriedly hid behind the column and, “bang”, shot right back at Allen.
Allen dodged the bullet by staying low and leaping upward, hiding himself by the side of the column.
They both shot out two bullets out of three and both of them only had one shot left.
All of a sudden, both of them were quiet gasping for air and deciding how to use the last bullet to win the match.
On the stairs, the fight came into a deadlock and the Shadow Army and Kevin who was waiting downstairs were all staring at the staircase on the second floor.
Everyone was solemn.
In normal days, Kevin had absolute confidence in Belle’s skills and strength but today, after he had seen the power of the King of the Shadow, he couldn’t help but worry a little.
This dangerous man rivaled Belle not only in intelligence but also in strength, it would not be easy for Belle to win.
He secretly reached his hand in the back where he hid his handgun and he was ready to shoot at any minute if anything happened to Belle.
The people downstairs waiting for all wore a solemn face while the two upstairs were in a deadlock.
Belle looked down at the handgun in her hand and slid down the magazine clip to check the last bullet.
She stared at the bullet for a while, glanced across the place as well as the small black door and frowned slightly.
If calculated by distance, she must lose for that the enemy could arrive through a straight line but she would have needed to make a turn, which would no doubt slow her down.
If she jumped across from the handrail, which was not impossible, her enemy might use the last bullet to shoot at her in the process.
Even if she could dodge it, she could have slowed down but if she couldn’t dodge it and get hit by the bullet, she would lose as well.
Either way, Belle did not have a sure win.
As Belle was thinking, Allen frowned as well, trying to figure out which way she would choose.
What Belle thought, Allen learned as well by using anti- reconnaissance and psychology.
The Prince of Dark Night was sure to leap across the handrail, which even Allen knew The Prince would lose anyway.
Allen knew that with the ability The Prince of Dark Night had, he would never risk easily but it seemed equally impossible that he should make the turn.
Three possible methods were eliminated with only one left.
If his enemy chose the way he thought, then he only has fifty chance of winning, after all the enemy was betting with his life.
The danger of this method was different from that of jumping across the handrail.
That was a dead road but though this was as dangerous, it might present fifty percent of winning, depending on his body strength.
At least he would hold his life and his success in his hand.
If he was his enemy, he would have chosen the same way.
