Chapter 41 Too Hot Too Handsome

Book:The Perfect Marriage Published:2024-5-1

A night of hot and sexy lovemaking passed.
Belle woke up from a loud and pressing phone call the next day.
Her sleepiness disappeared immediately when she saw who was calling.
She scratched her long hair in remorse, feeling a bit restless.
She realized that she was less likely to be alert when she was around Allen. It was as though Allen was gradually changing her whose self-restrain loosened more and more in his loving care and spoiling.
She frowned with a distanced look, hoping everything would be alright.
Let’s hope that Allen was not like Ken Walker or else she would definitely bomb the entire city heavily.
For that she would not afford to lose again!
“Hello…” Belle picked up her cellphone and before she was able to finish her sentence, an angry shouting came through from the receiver.
“Oh Madam, you finally care to pick up your cellphone, do you know how many times had I phoned you? 18 times! If you still didn’t pick up, I would assume that you make yourself disappeared again!”
Kevin’s voice was furious from the receiver, “I say, you didn’t forget that you were supposed to pick me up at the airport today, right?”
“Ahem…” Hearing Kevin’s angry voice, Belle didn’t know what to say for that she did forget Kevin was coming to Country Z today and that she was to pick him up.
“Damn, Belle Spriz, you are something! Don’t tell me you just woke up!”
Without getting a proper response from Belle, Kevin shouted again.
No matter how well-tempered he was, being stood up by Belle Spriz was driving him insane let alone the fact that he has spent the entire morning waiting at the airport.
“Hmm, where are you now? Are you still at the airport? How about I go pick you up now?”
Belle knew she messed it up and so she endured Kevin’s anger silently and grew a slight of remorse on her distanced face, she did forget after all.
“Bah!”
Kevin was angry, really angry this time, and could barely talked to Belle.
“Alright, I apologize, tell me where you are now and I’ll find you and buy you dinner as a way to welcome you? How’s that sound, Mr. Kevin?”
Belle raised her eyebrow, smiled and asked.
“Well, that sounds about right but don’t you think that I’ll forgive you with just a meal! You figure out what to do yourself, I’ll send my address to you!”
Kevin curled up his lips and grinned but remained indifferent to Belle and hung up the phone.
Being hung up by Kevin, Belle shook her head and smiled wryly.
Belle got up from the bed to wash her face and brush her teeth in the bathroom only to find the already squeezed toothpaste on her toothbrush. She smiled at the sight of it and felt immediately a warm current running in her heart.
When Belle finished washing up, she walked downstairs to the kitchen only to find a beautifully handwritten sticker on the refrigerator, which made her heart melt even more.
“Breakfast is warm in the microwave. Take it out and eat. Don’t forget to miss me. Car keys in the TV set drawer if you ever want to go out. Stay at home for me at night! Love, Al!”
After giggling at the sticker for a while, Belle reached out for the breakfast in the microwave.
Half an hour later, when Belle was ready, she picked a silver sports car from the garage and left.
The silver sports car run on the street like a quick wind and its outstanding appearance attracted a lot of attention, especially when its driver was a breathtakingly beautiful girl.
The sports car drove straight away to the entrance of the Victoria Hotel.
Belle caught the eyes of many as soon as she got off the car.
Belle was wearing a white long dress today, which showed perfectly her slim body.
Her long black hair fell on the back like a waterfall and her cold and refined face was enchanting even without makeup on.
She had a cold and elegant air to herself.
Belle walked into the hotel lobby with her eyes slightly raised and glanced across the crowd until she targeted at a tall man and walked towards him.
Kevin’s height stood out in the crowd.
His face looked even more handsome with his short blond hair. He grinned as soon as he caught the sight of Belle.
“It’s ugly!” Belle glanced at his blond hair coldly and curled up her lips disdainfully.
“Is it? Don’t you think I become more stylishly handsome since the dye? Hey Belle, do you want to consider being in my arms, eh?”
Kevin then posed in a way he thought it was the hottest and leered at Belle.
“What’s wrong with your eyes, Kevin? You really should see the doctor! It’s not good to be insane all the time!”
Belle ignored his leer straight away.
Should she be another person, she could no doubt be seduced by Kevin’s handsome appearance.
Belle was so used to seeing the handsome and refined face of Allen that she could no longer find another person as good-looking.
Could it be beauty lies in the lovers’ eye?
“Damn, you broke my heart, I came here for you only to get my heart broken!” Kevin blinked his eyes, feeling wronged.
Well, one could never see through girls who were the most mysterious creatures in the world!
“Cut if off, come on, let’s go talk business in your room!”
Belle glimpsed at Kevin then walked ahead to the elevators.
Kevin raised his eyebrows and looked around and realized everyone in the lobby was looking at them. A beauty and a handsome were destined to attract attention anywhere.
Kevin shrugged and complained to himself, being handsome was indeed annoying.
When they were waiting in front of the elevators, a familiar gentle voice came from behind.
“Hey Belle, what are you doing here?”
With only a voice in her ears, she stiffened up right away.
Her cold face was cold as an ice cellar, her eyes was filled with hatred and murder and her body shivered involuntarily.
Such sudden shift of emotion couldn’t go unnoticed by Kevin and he frowned slightly and withdrew the smile on his face. He looked at Belle compassionately and then glanced at the man behind.
Belle’s hands balled into fists and were then unclenched.
Her cold eyes was filled instead with darkness and ruthlessness. She turned around coldly and met the eyes of this gentleman with a dangerous sneer on her lips which indicated sheer arrogance.
“What? Are you the owner of this hotel, Mr. Ken Walker? Why can’t I be here?”
