The next day, Belle was awakened by a call after another. Allen was long gone and her body felt as if it had been hit by a car. She frowns.
“Hello, I’m Belle.” She picked up the call without looking at who was the caller.
“Belle, someone is willing to buy your life, do you want to accept?” Kevin said with a laugh.
“How much?” Belle asked coolly and without any attitude. As if she’s not the one going to be killed.
“Fifty million!” Kevin said.
“Fifty million? So cheap? I’m devastated that my life is only worth that much.”
Belle just remarked for herself and her tone did not indicate any sadness.
“Guess who is willing to spend fifty million to see you dead? There’s a prize if you can guess correctly.” Kevin joked mysteriously.
“Anyone can guess that. Other than the Frazer family, who would spend this money to kill me?” Belle raised her eyebrow and coolly said, disregarding the looming danger.
The Frazer family was rather daring to get an assassin to kill her. But she felt a little perturbed that her life was only worth fifty million.
“Congratulations, you’ve answered correctly. Your prize is a big kiss!” Kevin placed a big kiss on his cell phone.
“Receive this kiss, it’s worth fifty million. But aren’t you able to come over? Just nice, I need some help!” Belle was sullen and said.
“If you miss me, just say so and not use the excuse of needing help. I won’t tease you. Silly girl.”
Kevin laughed loudly. Since he came back this time, he was constantly thinking of an excuse to look for Belle. Now was his chance.
“Fool, I really need your help!” Belle was not kidding around.
She has not sought vengeance from the Frazer family for so long. It was time to teach them a good lesson. Now that they had hired a killer to kill her, they should settle the score once and for all.
“Hey, who offended my girl, is he blind? Go ahead, let me know, I’ll take care of it!” Kevin heard Belle’s cool voice and sounded serious.
“The Frazers!” Belle spits out the words, raging in vengeance.
“Ah, looks like the Frazers will be ruined soon. They deserve it for what they had done. The Frazers could have offended anyone but they had to offend my girl, it seems like they will soon die a terrible death!”
Kevin is well aware of what Belle is capable of.
They can be considered childhood friends. Belle was someone who will take care of you. Be kind to her and she will repay your kindness ten folds over. If you offend her, you won’t be able to live till the next day.
He remembered that the first time he saw Belle, he was being pursued and was severely injured. Had it not been for her, Kevin would have long disappeared from the face of the earth.
And on that day was the first time he saw that someone could kill in that manner, swift, ruthless, and precise.
She was only a ten odd years old little girl and yet she was able to kill like a ferocious wolf. Each strike was deadly and each stab found its mark.
And also it was on that day where his life and hers were intertwined. To be worthy of her, he worked hard and built himself up.
“They asked for it!” Belle said coldly and emotionlessly. She was full of hatred and vengeance, thirsting for blood.
“I have an incoming line, bye!” There was an incoming calling tone, Belle said to Kevin and hung up.
She looked at the unknown number, frowns, hesitates for half a ring, and answered.
“Hello, I’m Belle!”
“Belle, I’m Johnny. Can you do me a favor?” Johnny finally got through and sighed a breath of relief.
“What’s up, what happened?”
“Belle, do you have any money? If you do, can you lend me some?”
After asking, Johnny laughed in embarrassment. Though he felt that it’s a small matter asking Belle for some money, he was still embarrassed about it.
He was worried that Belle would tell his brother and reminded her, “Belle, please don’t ever tell my brother about this, otherwise, I’m dead!”
“Where are you? I’ll go over now!”
Johnny told Belle a long name and heard Peter getting uncomfortable.
“Johnny, why did you ask Belle to come? What if she tells your brother?” Peter looked at Johnny full of worry.
If Allen knew about it, then his brother will know about it. When his brother knew, then his grandfather will hear about it. No good can come out of this when that happens.
“Rest assured Belle won’t tell my brother.”
Though Johnny just met Belle, he could not look for anyone else for help other than her.
“Oh, Second master Tim has called for the helper. Okay, we’ll wait. I sure want to see who this helper is!” The obviously delinquent young man, with his hair dyed blond, continued to chew on his gum and laughed at Johnny.
“Yeah, Johnny, your luck is rotten today. Your racing driver is not up to it! “Another young man with an afro hair laughed.
“Didn’t you guys hear? He called for his sister-in-law. Hey? Something’s wrong, when did you have a sister-in-law? As far as I know, Allen isn’t married yet!”
The young man said doubtfully and demanded. Johnny’s sister-in-law can only be the wife of Allen. But in the social circle, no one has said anything about Allen getting married. Unless Johnny was lying to them!
Johnny can’t be bothered to explain to them. If brother didn’t say, then he must have his reasons.
Johnny was full of himself and said, “You don’t even know about this? I won’t tell you as well. Heh heh!”
“Humph, so what if you don’t. You aren’t lying to us, are you? Is your sister-in-law a figment of imagination? But I heard that Uncle Tim plans to have the daughter of the Bruce family marry your brother!”
“That’s amazing, it’s the Bruce family daughter! Your brother is so fortunate. Once he marries the daughter the Bruce family will practically give half of their fortune to him!”
