When they broke the kiss, he looked at her face and he could see how red she was. She stood up from the bed and went to the bathroom. They took their turns bathing and dressing. She was wearing a flowing green dress, she had little jewellery on her neck. They went to breakfast together and after breakfast, Mark did not take her back to the room, they went to the meeting room.
When the Angels were sitting, Mark came in with Kiara. He went to sit on the first chair and Kiara sat next to him, they were going to talk about how to go to the fairies kingdom. Mark sat and cleared his throat.
“You all know why we are here.” He started.
They all nodded.
“Who will go with me?” Mark asked.
“When are we going there?” Shawn asked.
“Tomorrow,” Mark answered.
The room went silent and they looked at each other.
“I will.” It was Shawn.
“I will too.” It was Kevin.
When he spoke, Kiara noticed his wings, they had changed colours, it was still multicoloured but the colours had changed. It was beautiful and Kiara kept staring till Mark noticed but he did not speak.
“Is that all?” Mark asked his brothers and they all nodded.
Then Mark stood up and took Kiara’s hand into his, she stood up too.
“She is going with me too.” He finally said.
They did not look surprised. She was one of the reasons they were going to the fairies kingdom, it was good she was going. No one objected to it and he and Kiara left the big meeting room and headed back to their room.
They got into the room and when the door was closed, Mark pulled Kiara to himself and wrapped his hands around her waist. She gasped at the sudden movement but she quickly regained consciousness and wrapped her hands around his shoulder, she smiled. He bent low and placed a soft kiss on her lips. He could hear her heartbeat and it was not as high as it had always been when they were close, she was getting used to him. He liked it.
They broke the kiss and he rubbed his nose on hers, he loved the feeling of their noses together.
“I saw you admiring Kevin’s wings, you do not like mine anymore?” He whispered.
Kiara laughed.
“Is someone jealous?” She smiled and whispered back.
He scoffed.
“Of course not. You are mine alone.”
He kissed her again.
“I will call Sarah to come to help you pack up.” He said when they broke the kiss.
She wondered if the human girl was the only servant in the huge house. She asked.
“Is she the only servant around here?” She asked.
“No, but she is your personal maid. You need a change?” He asked her.
“Not at all.” She responded.
They unwrapped their hands around each other and Mark walked to the door and opened it. She made a note in her head to ask Mark about the door later. She sat back on the bed, waiting for Sarah and when the door opened, it was not Sarah. It was Mark. She wondered what brought him back. He into the room and stood by the door, his lazy eyes on her and she was looking at him too.
“Missed me that much?” She asked and winked.
He laughed. That deep masculine voice Kiara loved so much echoed in the room.
“I called Sarah to come up and pack your things for you while you are out.” He explained.
She knotted her brows.
“Out? I do not intend on going out.” She said, confused.
“But I do.” He replied.
She raised her brows and laughed.
“Where are we going to?” She asked him curiously.
He came to where she sat and took her little hands into his big ones and raised her up and she stood.
“Where are we going to?” She asked again.
He did not talk to her and he just dragged her out of the room. They left the room and kept walking, taking the turns and descending the stairs. They finally got to the large door and Mark opened it. It was the first time she was going out of the house by day time and she was excited.
They walked out of the house and she could see the environment. It was extremely beautiful, the houses were big and decorated with different kinds of flowers, her eyes went through the place and the beauty was overwhelming. Mark bent low to her ears and whispered.
“You like it?”
She nodded. How could she not like the place? She loved it. He could see the pleasure all over her face and he felt happy. He grabbed her hand and they started walking.
*** KIARA’S POV ***
She could not believe her eyes, the city looked extremely beautiful even in the daytime, the houses were beautifully built and the flowers that decorated them were extremely beautiful. The sun was up in the sky and it added to the beauty of the place. She could never have thought that a place like that existed. She stood in front of the house with Mark when he grabbed her hands and started walking and she followed soon. She caught up with him and they were soon walking hand in hand around the city.
She could see the beautiful places, the gardens, the houses and the people. Some of the people were humans and others were Angels who had wings on their backs. She could not take her eyes off them.
Some of the people stared at them as they walked around and those who cared to come closer bowed to her and Mark. The women were beautiful and all the men were tall and handsome, the Angels looking more beautiful and handsome and taller than the humans.
She and Mark walked to the market and she could see how busy it was.
