The past one month was hectic but very peaceful.
I was busy managing the pack with my two siblings and mate.
We were trying to know and learn how everything worked.
Mostly what being mated felt like and how the pack worked.
I stood outside looking at Natasha who was talking fiercely to the released warriors. They were now cooperative and apologetic over their past behavior.
“Brother,” Kat called as she approached me with Will.
I looked at her and smiled happily.
“What’s up?” I asked.
They stood next to me and laughed softly.
“So, I have decided to travel with Damon. Sadly I won’t stick around much longer.” She answered softly.
“That’s a really good idea. Luckily Ron will be around.” I said.
“Well, I have decided to stick around. Although not here. I will be in our mansion with Leah. We have to get to know each other very well without anyone interrupting. You know …” He trialed off with a raised brow.
“Are you guys abandoning me?. We made a vow to always be together remember.” I reminded them.
“Yes and we held on to our promise until we met our mates. Ron, we will always be together no matter what. But for now, we each have to go our separate ways.” Kat answered.
“Hey, guys.” Natasha greeted when she approached us.
“Hey” Will answered with a smile.
“So, why don’t you guys come in. I will prepare something for you.” She said happily.
“No thanks,” Kat answered.
Natasha looked at me sadly.
“Don’t mind them. They are original assholes by nature.” I joked as we all laughed.
“Originals?” Natasha asked curiously.
“Well yeah. We are the first of our kind.
How old do you think we are?” I asked.
“Um…. a hundred?” She asked.
“Add thousand at the end of your sentence.” Will answered.
Natasha looked at us in shock with her eyes widened.
“The first?. How did you come to be? No, how are you related when you are different beings?” She asked loudly.
“Well your mate needs to be fucked,” Kat coughed in between her words teasingly.
Natasha looked down shyly as I gently placed a kiss on her forehead.
“That’s a story I will tell you when we do mate.” I whispered in her ear.
She blushed then ran away shyly. My mate was really cute.
“We still have a long way to go.” Kat said seriously.
“Yes. That’s why always keep your eyes and ears open. Just because we have found something to protect and love doesn’t mean we are safe. The hunters are always after us.” I reminded them.
“We know brother, but I also know that we will fight for our new family until our last breath.” Kat answered then tiptoed and hugged me as I hugged her back happily.
“Take care of yourself little sister and remember to visit whenever you feel like. My home is always open to you.” I said then pulled back.
“Sure brother.” She answered.
Will shook my hand then hugged me.
“Homo.” Kat coughed.
I pulled back and smiled.
“I love you both, a lot. Always take care. If you encounter any danger, you know what to do.” I said.
They both nodded then walked away.
I looked at my pack and smiled.
This was not what we had expected to find.
We were searching for our thrill but we ended up finding love.
I wasn’t complaining at all because I now had a pack to protect and this time, I wasn’t alone, I was with my destined one.
And to all the dangers roaming around the world. let them come because we are were always ready for anything.
