Mia’s p. o. v
I walked to the omegas wing and went into Meg’s room without knocking.
When she looked at me she quickly stood up from her bed.
“Mia.” She called softly.
“Hey,” I answered then extended my hands to her.
She moved closer and hugged me tightly.
“How have you been?” I asked when she pulled back and glared at me.
“Now you think I exist?” She asked coldly.
“I’m sorry. I know I have been a horrible friend.” I answered.
“Totally. I know you had issues with the twins but I didn’t expect you to ditch me like that or stop coming here.” She said angrily.
“I know, I’m sorry. It was one thing after another and I couldn’t think straight.” I answered.
“I was worried when I heard that you were in the pack clinic. Sadly I couldn’t come and see you because the alphas were with you. And what’s this rumor I’m hearing about you being a rare golden wolf?” She asked on top of her voice.
“How about we sit down.” I asked
She nodded then sat down on her bed as I did too.
“Well, it turns out I’m a Golden wolf.” I answered as she gasped loudly.
“So you killed one of the female alphas and Injured the other?” She asked.
Wow, the news did travel fast.
“I did,” I answered.
“Damn you are so super cool right now. I wish I could see your wolf. better still be like you.” She screamed on top of her voice as I quickly covered her mouth.
“Meg calm down,” I whispered then dropped my hand.
“Okay.” She answered.
“As I was saying. I’m a Golden wolf, but my powers aren’t fully at their peak. According to the elders, they will mature with time. As you can see, I’m okay and out of danger, that time I was in the clinic, it was the female Alphas’ doing.” I said calmly.
“And the marks on each side of your neck?” She asked seriously.
How the hell did she know and see everything.
“The Alphas and I went through with our mating last week.” I answered as she squealed loudly.
“Yes!. Finally.” She screamed as I covered her mouth again.
“Shh,” I whispered.
“Who was that!” Margret’s loud voice came through.
She opened the door and walked in with a cold glare.
I stood up and faced her.
“You sited behind, how dare you make noise!” She yelled on top of her voice as I took in a deep breath and released it to keep myself calm.
“Margret,” I called.
“What!” She screamed then cleared her throat.
“I mean yes.” She answered in a soft tone.
“First of all you dare walk into this room like it’s your own. And secondly, you dare to ignore your own Luna. Thirdly you fail to refer to my title as Luna. Do you know that such stupidity is punishable?” I asked.
When a minute went by without her response I went on.
“As of today, you will no longer look after the omegas, because you are abusive, disrespectful and a total, elderly bitch.” I said as she growled in a low tone.
“You can’t do that. No one can take my place.” She spat loudly.
“Matter of fact…..” I trailed off as Ayira took over.
“You will be below every omega. You won’t speak back to them unless spoken to, and you will serve them without question. You will never command anyone or mistreat them. Your place will be passed on to someone who is respectful and who knows how to look after others well, am I clear?” Ayira growled loudly as Margret fell to her knees and bore her neck in submission.
“Good, now get the hell out.” She ordered.
Margret quickly got to her feet and ran out of the room.
“Annoying,” Ayira whispered then pulled back.
I took over and turned to face Meg.
When I found her on her knees I quickly helped her up.
“What are you doing?” I asked on top of my voice.
“I tried Mia, to resist your commands but I couldn’t. I know that they were directed to her but I found myself submitting as well. Your wolf is very powerful.” She whispered.
I took her hands in mine then sat down with her.
“Don’t tell anyone about this okay. Also, as of today, you will be in charge of looking after the ladies. If anyone goes against you, they go against me.” I said as she froze and tears formed in her eyes.
“Are you telling the truth?” She asked then sniffed.
“I am, I also came to tell you that the twins and I talked about renovating this place. Everyone will have big beautiful bedrooms, each of their room will have a small kitchen, living room, toilet and bathroom. So in short this whole place will be turned into apartments.” I said.
She quickly hugged me and sobbed as I rubbed her back.
“You are so kind Mia.” She cried.
“You were more kind to me than anyone else. That’s why the twins will personally make sure your house is built away from here and near the pack house.” I answered as her voice got louder.
I pulled back and faced her with tears in my eyes.
“You are my best friend that’s why I need you by my side. I was a bitch to you when I moved into the pack house. But this time I’ll make everything right.” I whispered.
She wiped off her tears and laughed softly.
“Thank you.” She answered.
“It’s nothing. I want the best for our pack. That’s why the twins will also abolish a few rules. Everyone will be free and there won’t be unnecessary fear when talking to a high up. Everyone will be treated equally in this pack.” I said.
She nodded then laughed softly.
“You make an amazing Luna.” She whispered.
“Thank you, Meg. So how’s it going with beta Chris?” I asked to change the subject and make her feel better.
“Oh him?. I’m so over that guy.” She answered seriously.
“What happened?” I asked seriously.
“Don’t you see it?” She asked.
“See what?” I asked back.
“That guy is worse than the twins, no offense. Chris pretends to be nice. Everything about him is fake.” She answered surprising me.
“Who told you that?” I asked.
“No one. I could just feel it and at times I see how he looks at people with disgust. That man is better of being alone forever and not mated.” She answered as I laughed softly.
She wasn’t that wrong. I too noticed how at times he looked at those below him with anger for no reason.
It didn’t matter if he was mated or not. As long as he did his work well and wasn’t mistreating anyone or saying crappy things, then I was okay with him.
“Let’s forget about him. You tell me about you. How have you been?” I asked happily.
It felt so nice to talk to her, and this time I wasn’t going to ever leave her.
