Mia’s p. o. v
I was feeling agitated and very sad, a few days had gone by without any of my mates visiting me. My wolf was silent and couldn’t dare talk to me, I knew I had hurt Brandon and I was hoping he hadn’t told Landon the truth, I was at fault and confused. They were the bad guys and I was suppose to hate them, but why then was I feeling horrible. My conscious made sure to torment me over my said words. In my mind, I was the betrayer.
Meg usually brought me food but refused to stay with me for some minutes, although she couldn’t say, I knew that someone must have instructed her to bring food and clear the plates without saying much. I avoided going out of my room because I was scared of meeting any of my mates, how was I even going to face them.
My wolf growled loudly at me then kept quiet.
“What, you seriously want me to go and look for them after what had happened.” I asked silently.
She kept quiet but I could feel her emotions, she was somehow pleased with my words.
I stood up from my bed and walked to the wardrobe which was next to the bed, I opened it and pulled out a beautiful, medium, black dress.
“They wouldn’t mind right?” I asked my wolf while taking off my dirty dress which I had put on for days.
I usually took a bath but feared to dress up, the clothes in the wardrobe weren’t mine and they hadn’t told me to use anything in the room.
I wore the dress and smiled when it fit me perfectly.
I quickly pulled up my hair and tied it in a messy bun. I didn’t bother to look for slippers or shoes, all I wanted was to see them as soon as possible.
I slowly came out of the bedroom and went downstairs to their office, I had never gone there but I knew where it was.
I reached the door and took in a deep breath when I heard Landon’s voice.
“So what’re your thoughts over it brother?” He asked.
I released my breath and waited for Brandon or anyone to answer him back. When a few minutes went by I frowned.
He seriously wasn’t talking to himself was he?. Perhaps he was talking on the phone.
“Brother, I think we should accept the female twin Alpha’s they are offering us for the alliance, we already have a lot of female omegas as it is.” Brandon answered.
I felt a twig of pain pierce my heart and my wolf began to whimper and whine.
“What are you talking ….”
“How about I call the neighboring pack and inform them about our decision?” Brandon asked cutting Landon off.
I opened the door without knocking and walked in. My heart was beating rapidly and my feet were slightly wobbly.
Brandon sat behind the desk with a smirk while Landon was standing leaning against the wall. They both were looking at me, not only had I just interrupted them, I couldn’t even excuse myself.
I was scared, terribly scared, not because of them but because of their words. Them having other females around or mating any she-wolf beside me would kill me.
I looked at both of them rubbed my hand against my shoulder a few times to calm myself. I wasn’t going to look down or keep quiet, I needed them to know that I wasn’t okay with them having someone else.
“I’m not okay with you bringing in other she-wolfs.” I said seriously then swallowed hard.
“What did you just say?” Landon asked then stood upright.
“I won’t allow you to bring other women Into this pack house.” I said again.
Brandon’s smirk grew wider, while Landon’s expression turned to disbelief.
“Do you think you are in a position to talk to us like that?” Brandon asked.
“I accept that I was wrong Brandon, I wasn’t suppose to say those hurtful words, it’s just that you are the ones who had hurt me first.” I answered Softly.
They both were looking at me coldly, Brandon brushed his hand through his hair and picked up the cell phone which was on his desk. He dialed a number and let the phone ring.
The sound of my heartbeat was loud enough for them to hear, I knew it was a death wish to call my alpha by his given name but he was also my mate.
“Hello.” A male voice answered.
“We have read through the letter and we want to accept your offer, we are more interested in your twin daughters.” He said as I felt anger rise in me. My wolf took partial control.
I angrily walked to him and pulled the phone from his hand and threw it down breaking it into pieces.
“You are not going to have any females besides me. I am your mate and I’m the only one worthy to be by your side!. I know that I was wrong but you just have to learn to forgive, you shouldn’t take it out on me in such a way!” I growled loudly.
When his eyes turned into dark red, I knew there and then I had made a wrong move, my wolf instantly backed away in fear with a low whimper, I could feel her submitting to him.
He stood up as I took a few steps back with a laboured breath. Landon quickly stood in front of him blocking his way.
“Step aside Landon.” He warned with dominance.
“No Blake, I know that you will end up badly hurting her, and I can’t let that happen.” He answered seriously.
“Hey, leave while you can.” Landon whispered.
I quickly ran to the door and rushed outside. I went upstairs and Into my room. I wasted no time in locking the door.
A loud growl came from downstairs followed by heavy footsteps. I moved to the corner and waited for him. I knew it was him.
The door was kicked open and he walked in, his claws had blood dripping and his shirt was slightly ripped.
“Please I’m sorry, you are scaring me, Brandon.” I whispered in tears.
“Brandon isn’t the one you are talking to Omega.” He answered and I knew there and then I was facing his wolf and he wasn’t here to talk sweet nothings in my ear.
I was going to die anyway, so I did the only thing I had been wanting to do ever since I first realized that they were my mates.
I walked to him and wrapped my arms around his waist.
“At least let me die in your arms.” I sobbed then closed my eyes.
“Blake.” Landon called from downstairs.
I breathed out In relief knowing that he sounded fine.
He walked into the room without any injury. I wondered where the blood Blake had came from.
“Are you seriously going to kill our only mate?” Landon asked.
Brandon pushed me away and looked at me sadly. His eyes were back to normal.
“For once in life I truly side with you brother. All women are the same.” He whispered then walked out of the room.
“I hope you are happy now.” Landon said then went out too.
I sat on the floor and sobbed sadly.
