Scott’s eyes followed every sultry movement that Deli displayed on the stage. He watched her body curl and uncurl around the pole as if in a trance.
He was transfixed by her beauty once again. Normally, he isn’t a racist but neither of his ex-flings was black. But looking at Deli made him realize the amazing chance he must have missed with those hot black ladies.
Deli isn’t exactly black but her golden brown skin shone due to the highlights of the club lights. The strange nearly visible bangles she was wearing made a loud noise which is probably why ninety per cent of the men in the club were staring at her without blinking.
He could see the other strippers watching her with so much envy and hatred. That didn’t stop him from feeling proud about the fact that she belongs to him.
“That’s my girl,” The words involuntarily escaped his lips. But then, he remembered the instructions he had given to her and the happy mood turned sour.
Without turning back to the bartender that was patiently waiting, he matched to the stage. Pushing through the crowd cheering loudly, he finally got to the front.
She didn’t notice him at first but when she did, she was shaken. She was a little stunned that she missed a step and almost fell. He would have rushed forward if she did though but then she bowed and left the stage.
The crowd protested loudly watching her leave. His eyes followed her to the doorway and he was the only one that noticed that she turned back to give him signals with her eyes.
Then she disappeared behind the stage. He smiled, understanding her signal. He also left. As he walked in the direction of the rooms, he felt an intense gaze burning through him and stopped.
As he stopped walking, he was able to feel that someone was indeed staring at him intensely. He didn’t feel good about the way the person was staring at him so he turned around. His eyes scanned the crowd but everyone’s eyes were fixed on the stage.
Having no other option, he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. He didn’t know that as he walked away. A man covered in all black that blended in the shadows appeared in between the crowd, staring at him with a wicked smile.

“I told you not to leave the room!” Scott couldn’t stop himself from snapping at her as soon as he got in. He couldn’t resist venting his anger.
He remembered telling her yesterday to stay in the room. Deli looked at him and tried to bat her eyelashes at him but he didn’t even fall for it.
He must be so angry but how could she stay inside after what that man had told her. Her eyes visibly shook with fear as she thought of the event that had transpired in the room just after Scott left.
She sighed and said, “I’m sorry.” Hearing her soft voice made the sudden anger disappear just as it had appeared. He sighed and pinched his eyebrows in frustration, realizing that he yelled at her.
“I’m sorry too. I shouldn’t have yelled at you,” Scott apologized and then pulled her closer. They both sat on the bed. Unlike the previous times that they had met, he didn’t pounce on her and try to rip off her cloth.
“Do you want to know why I asked you to stay inside and not go out?”
Deli looked up, her eyes twinkling with an inkling of what he is about to say but she still shook her head to indicate a negative answer.
“I don’t like the way those men look at you and asides from that… I wanted to tell you this yesterday,” He looked serious that she thought, whatever he is about to say must be something huge.
“Deli, would you like to live with me?” His question threw her off balance. Scott thought of what he is letting go of to save her from this lifestyle. By… By letting her live with him, he would have to forgo the idea of staying with Ryan and…
“Why? Why are you suddenly asking this?” She asked with a puzzled look.
“Just answer me,” Scott told her gently, holding her hands. It’d break his heart if she were to say no.
Deli looked down to hide the happy smile that appeared on her face. “Yes… Why are you even bothering to ask me this when you know what my answer will be?” Of course, she didn’t say the last part out loud. She only added that silently.
Scott heaved a sigh of relief and leaned in to kiss her. He’d resolved to talk to the club owner that night. He is unaware of the plan slowly hatching in Deli’s mind.
Scott didn’t try to sit up this time. Instead, he wrapped his hands around the sleeping figure beside him. A contented smile spread out on his face as he cuddled her.
He hates the fact that he has to leave now. He had sent a message to Ryan the day before to inform him that he wouldn’t be coming home.
He spent the entire weekend with Deli and it was honestly the most blissful moment of his life. “Babe,” He whispered into her ears. She shook but didn’t wake up. Seems like his husky voice is tickling his ears.
“I have to go… I’ve got work,” He informed her and that did it. She opened her eyes and turned around to face him. A cute pout appeared on her face and she wrapped her hands around him tightly.
“No!,” She declared and he laughed.

Chris wasn’t looking ahead of him. He was busy chatting with a client on his phone and his personal assistant was beside him holding his suitcase.
They had almost reached the doorway when the PA called his attention to something or shall I say, someone? “Sir,” The lady called him making him look at her.
Why do Derrick’s sons love females huh? Chris looked at her and watched as she pointed to the entrance of the company. He stopped in his tracks and stared at the middle-aged man sitting in front of the glass doors on the floor.
