I put my cell phone on the bed and said to Leon, “I’m tired. You’d batter go home early and have a rest.”
“It’s still early. You don’t have to go to bed so early. Let’s talk a little bit more. Hold the phone up. I can’t see your face.” Leon said.
I had to pick my phone up from the bed and let him see my face, otherwise he won’t let the matter drop.
“You seem to be in a bad mood. What’s the matter? Are you in Nan House?” Leon said.
I nodded and said, “There is something weighing heavily on my mind. So you’re gonna keep bugging me?” I said.

When I arrived at the headquarters of Nanhe Group, I took the ordinary staff elevator instead of the special elevator for senior executives. “Did Wenbei ask you to come?” He asked me suddenly.

I nodded and said, “According to the company’s bylaws, I can attend the meeting on his behalf with his authorization.”
“The bylaws should have been modified long ago. You can’t go in. Just go back.” He said and waved his hands.
“The bylaws are still in force until they are modified. And since they are in force, I can go in.” I said calmly.
He looked at me again and said, “What if I don’t allow you to attend the meeting?”
“Then I won’t attend and I will inform the chairman and Mr. Jiang. I don’t have to attend the meeting. I just follow Wenbei’s orders.” I said.
“Then come on in.” He said. He actually made a concession.
I didn’t say “Thank you”. I was wondering who he is and why I had no impression of him.
Before the meeting stared, I went to the restroom. After making sure that no one was eavesdropping, I called Wenbei and told him about the man I had met at the door of the conference room.
“Is he back?” Wenbei said in some surprise.
“Who is he? Is he somebody?” I asked.
“He is my eldest brother, Xiaodong Su. He is mainly responsible for European and American affairs, so you haven’t met him, and there was no chance for me to mention him to you. But why he is back?” Wenbei said.
I was really surprised to know that the man turned out to be the eldest son of Su family. No wonder he kept staring at my face. He might think I looked like Nan Su, so he kept staring at me.
“He isn’t very friendly to me. How should I do?” I said.
Wenbei thought for a moment and said, “Don’t have a conflict with him. If he doesn’t allow you to attend the meeting, just come back.”
“OK, I see.” I said.
When I went back to the conference room, the meeting has already begun. I found a corner and sat down to take notes, because I had to report the content of the meeting to Wenbei.
I found that many of the meeting’s attendees didn’t know Xiaodong, just like me. They barely spoke to him, and some looked at him strangely.
Since Xiaodong is the eldest son of Su family, even if he is in charge of the European and American affairs, there should be a seat for him in the board of directors. How come I’ve never heard of him?
