Xiang also laughed with me. She rarely laughed like this with someone she hated.
“You brought the stuff, right? The acquisition is completed. The potential Lanhai Technology is owned by your couple exclusively. You guys must want to celebrate it with a big drink.”
I took the original of her manuscript out of my bag and handed it to her. She took it over and took a look at it, then carefully put it away.
“You’re not going to burn it? Wouldn’t it be safer to destroy it?” I asked with a smile.
“No, I’m keeping it. It will serve as a constant reminder that you are a woman I need to be careful with.”
“You praise me too much. I’m far from qualified to let you be careful with me. Thank you for teaching me so much.” I said.
“Do you hate me?” Xiang suddenly asked very seriously.
“Yes.” I answered very seriously as well.
“What do you hate about me?” She wasn’t angry at my answer.
