On our way back, Leon Hua drove the car, in which soft music was played.
I knew that Leon had many questions to ask me, which were all about Ying Hua. But he was in no hurry to ask, instead, he kept thinking about something. Finally, he clapped the steering wheel and seemed to have made a final decision.
“I must stop my sister being together with that useless man.” So this was Leon’s decision.
“But Sister Ying is not a three-year-old kid who can not make her own decision, if she really likes him, you shouldn’t stop them being together just because your personal preference, right?”
“Don’t talk that nonsense to me! Is love the most important thing for two people to be together? How could that kind of man, who is a completely sissy, deserve such a beauty like my sister? It’s a totally joke!” Leon shouted at me.
He acted as if I were the one who had been with that boy, which made me suffer a lot.
“Why are you so mad at me? It is Sister Ying who wants to marry him, and I also showed my objection to her decision clearly. But now that she doesn’t agree, then we also need to respect her own choice.”
“It isn’t useful to simply show our objection at all. What we need to do is separating them with our practical action.” What Leon just said really surprised me a lot.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea, we will make practical action to separate them just because we don’t like that man? I really can’t do that, because I don’t want Sister Ying to hate me.”
“I’m not asking you to do it.” Leon said.
“I don’t agree with you to do it, either. She is your own sister, so I really can not agree with you if you want to do something to her by means. Everyone has their right and freedom to be in love!”
“Of course I will not do that in person, if she knows that I stop her, she definitely will kill me.” Leon said.
“Then who’s going to do it? Xuanlong Jiang? Sister Ying will know him too.”
“Of course I will not find my subordinates to do that. I think only one person is the most suitable to do this.”
“Who?”
“Mu Chen.” Leon said the name slowly.
He was really so bad that he even thought about asking Mu Chen to do this.
That’s right, if Mu Chen knew that Ying Hua was together with a boy who had no sense of responsibility and was about to marry him, of course Mu would not agree. Depending on his ability, he probably could find ten thousand ways to separate Ying Hua and Yu Yi, what mattered was just how cruel his way was.
“I think it is too mean to do such things. Since you don’t agree with Sister Ying to be together with Mu Chen, and she also doesn’t want to be with Mu, is it really a good idea to do such a thing by using Mu?”
“That’s just what Mu Chen is good at, so what’s wrong with that? I have told you many times that you can’t be cheated by his good looking, he is actually very cruel! He is the most suitable person to do this thing. It is settled. You can tell him the relationship between my sister and Yu Yi, this time I can make an exception for you to see him.”
“Leon, I have never thought that you are such a cruel person. Don’t you feel embarrassed that you find other people to go against your own sister?”
Leon stared at me and said,” It is not called going against her, but saving her! That’s settled. You will go and find Mu Chen tomorrow morning, and tell him about this thing.”
“I won’t. I definitely will not be used by you to help you go against other people.” I refused his proposal clearly.
“You must go, or else you want me to go?”
“Now that you want to cause trouble, you should go and do it yourself, why do you drag me into this whole matter, I won’t do it!”
“You know that I don’t want to meet Mu Chen because I dislike him. As one of my sister’s best friends, only you are the most suitable person to go. If my sister is angry, you can tell her it is me who force you to do that, so that there is also space for you to circle round. That’s it.”
I didn’t say anything, I was wondering that if I should listen to Leon and tell Mu Chen about this thing?
There was no doubt that he still was in love with Ying Hua.
But it was also clear that he was my friend, which was beyond all doubt.
And I indeed should tell him this thing now that something had happened with the one he truly loved. But I still did not agree with what that evil-minded Leon said to let Mu Chen sabotage other people’s relationship.
“What are you thinking about? Still in a dilemma? You still think that I am hurting my sister?”
“I don’t think so, of course I know that you are out of kindness. I am just worried that if we will hurt Sister Ying by doing this, since she is not very fortunate after all.”
“No, my sister is not a weak person. What my sister went through is more than the average woman can stand, since she has been pushed off of a cliff, been kicked out of the family by our parents, even has cut off all the relations with my father. An average woman would think about death even after going through just one of those kind of things, but Ying Hua has gone through all, and she is still very optimistic, so now you can know that how strong she is inside.”
“But at least she will be angry at us, right? After all, we are interfering with her freedom to love.”
“Then she will only be angry at Mu Chen, she hates him very much no matter how, so it does not matter if she hates him more because of this thing.” Evil-minded Leon said to me calmly.
Now that Leon had said such words to me, I thought that as a friend of Mu Chen, who had saved me from my trouble many times, I felt it necessary to tell him. But I would not ask him to stop Sister Ying’s relationship as what Leon said.
The next day, I made an appointment with Mu Chen and he told me that he was in the boxing hall.
I told him that I was going to find him, but he hesitated and said that it would be rude because he was practising boxing.
But since I had some business to do and could not meet him later that day, I had to go to the boxing hall directly.
When I saw him, I understood that his description of being rude just meant that there was no clothes on his upper body.
That gentle Mu Chen I saw in daily life became fierce and tough in the ring, who was covered with sweat, and he kept making fierce attacks on his sparring partner, with fierce light in his eyes.
After finishing this round of practise, he put on a loose T-shirt, walked towards me and handed me a bottle of water.
“It is not a suitable place for us to talk, which indeed is very impolite. But I am still afraid that you will have to waste your time to wait for me.” He said as he wiped away his sweat.
I laughed,” I didn’t know that you were so good at boxing since you are very gentle and polite generally. Oh, I don’t know anything about boxing, just felt that you are very fierce.”
“I am not that good, Leon is better than me. Besides, his physical quality is stronger than me. Is there anything urgent for me now that you come here in such a hurry?” He asked.
For a moment, I didn’t know what to say, since this thing was indeed hard to tell.
“Why are you in such a dilemma? What’s the matter on earth?” He asked me with concern.
I said carefully,” I want to tell you something, but you can not be impulsive about that.”
” What is it?”
“You must promise me first that you will not be impulsive, then I will tell you.”
“Fine, I won’t be impulsive. Besides, I’m too old for impulsiveness, I’m not a young and reckless teenager anymore. Just relax.” He said.
“I think Sister Ying seems to be in love these days.”
He was about to twist the cap to open the bottle and drink the water, however, after hearing this, he stopped immediately. “Who is she be in love with?”
“A boy named Yu Yi, who seems to work in the film and television circle. I also heard that he had played a secondary leading actor in a network drama. That’s all I know.”
The hand he used to hold the bottle was exerting gradually, and the bottle of the mineral water that had not been completely opened was squeezed by his fingers’ strength, and the water started to flow out from the bottle cap.
I became a little worried after seeing the veins bulging on the back of his hands.
He said with a low voice,” She was in love with a celebrity?”
“An actor at most, he can’t be counted as a celebrity. He was a patient of hers and he started to go for her afterwards. As for Sister Ying, she is still considering about their relationship.” I said more carefully.
“No, she probably has been with him for a while, and then she told you about this thing. I know her personality, she would not tell you unless their relationship is very stable and certain. Are they going to get married?” He was still very calm, but the expression in his eyes started to become cold.
Besides, his guess was very accurate, so I could not dare to deny him at all.
He really knew Ying Hua very well.
“Sister Ying said that she is still considering…”
“Bang!”
The bottle in his hand suddenly flew out and hit on the opposite wall, then it burst and the water in the bottle splashed all around.
Mu Chen bit his lip and his eyes turned very cold. He was making efforts to control his rage burning inside of him. Then he stood up and said to me politely.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to frighten you. Thank you for telling me this, now I know. Please excuse me, I still have some business to do.” After saying this to me gently, he turned away.
I suddenly regretted telling him about it.
