Later in the evening, Wenbei Su called me.
On the phone he said he just found out I was removed as the person in charge. To my surprise, he was asked to suspend management of that project as well.
His side of the company has assigned someone else to take over the project.
Wenbei was a director and senior vice president of Nanhe Group, who can replace him? Only the chairman of the Nanhe Group, Wenbei’s father, could do so.
Wenbei’s explanation was that he was not being forcibly replaced, but that there was indeed another project that he needed to do. The company thought it was a little unreasonable to put him in charge of a project like that.
That sounded pretty reasonable.
I was just the sales director of a branch, it’s normal to be in charge of such a project, but Wenbei is one of the top five figures in the group. He was in charge of this project, which indeed wasted his talent.
I told him that tomorrow I would come to Yang City with that director named Ruoxin Chen to do some handover work and hope that he would be there.

Since she asked me to go in the name of work, I did so or she would think I was afraid of her.
The place arranged by Wenbei, so I wasn’t so worried.
That secretary Lu didn’t talk much at first, but as soon as he was at table, he immediately became active. He began to introduce the various urban plans of Yang City as well as an overview of the various industrial developments. He really thought he was an urban designer.

Secretary Lu stood up, ” Miss Yao, the first time we met, we have at least six drinks.”
So they were planning to get me drunk?

Then Secretary Lu took a drink first.
I just looked at them with a cold look.
“It’s true my sister can’t drink. I’ll drink for her.” Wenbei stood up.
“Mr. Su, if you want a drink, I’ll toast you, you don’t have to drink for her.” Ruoxin immediately stop Wenbei.
“I won’t drink, no matter who asks me to drink.” I said blandly, “I never drink if others force me to, I’ll go first.”
I stood up, picked up my bag and was about to leave.
