“You wouldn’t believe me even if I deny it, so what difference does it make whether I admit it or not? I am divorcing you anyway.”
“Get out of here!” He shouted in a deep voice.
So be it. I left his office.
His words followed, “You want a divorce? I Won’t divorce! I am the one to decide whether to divorce or not! You don’t get to discuss it with me!”
His words were so bullying.
I didn’t get to discuss it with him? Then what was I? A dog, or a cat?
“Get over yourself! I can sue, I don’t think you can control the court!”
“You can sue, but I’ve got the best lawyers in Hai city and your chance of winning is zero!”
“You think you are in control of everything because you have money, but I don’t think so, I used to give into you only because of Alex!”
“Speaking of Alex, if you dare to divorce now, you shall never see your son! How many things can a three-year-old child remember? Ten years later he wouldn’t even know who you are!”
My heart skipped a beat and stopped arguing at once, I slammed the door behind me and left.
I got angrier and angrier after I got back to my office.

I thought for a while before I dialed the number of the CEO’s office, I introduced myself as Nala Yao, said I wanted to see the CEO to report my work in person and asked what time would the CEO be available.
I was told that the CEO was in a meeting and would ask him in half an hour, if the CEO agreed, I would be informed by phone.
One hour later, the office called saying the CEO had agreed to meet me at 3P. M.
I continued with my work till it was half past two, I then went out of the company.
It didn’t take me long to get to the general headquarters.

“What impressive words!” I admired and said.

“Thanks for the compliment, what do you come to see me for today?”

I didn’t follow his words as he had his own judgment and it would be unwise for me to agree with him blindly.
