“What?”
I looked at him in confusion. I just woke up so I was dizzy.
I had no idea what he was talking about.
But he leaned over and undressed. He asked me, “what did you do with him?”
He wanted to have sex with me.
I woke up and wanted to run. He grabbed me with his hand!
I turned him down and closed my legs together. I yelled, “Sean, are you a man? You are incompetent! You can just force me!”
“I’m not competent?”
Sean looked at me as if he was watching a joke.
Yeah, who dared to say Sean was incompetent?
I twisted.”Yeah, you’re incompetent. You force a woman to have sex!”
My words were like a slap in the face of Sean.
He looked at me and smiled sarcastically.
He hit the bed hard!
I could feel my bed shaking.
He looked down at me and asked, “is it because he died that you found out you love him?”
“Yes, I found out after his death that he was the only one who was good to me! At least he only loves me and treats me well!”
I was lying and I was not lying.
Daniell was good to me.
He frowned at my answer. There was sadness in his eyes.
He just looked at me and said, “I can do it, too.”
“You can?”I looked at Sean sarcastically.”You won’t do that unless Molly dies one day.”
When it came to Molly, Sean’s hands shook.”I need to give her marriage. I can give you everything else.”
“I don’t want it! I don’t care!”I sat up and picked up my clothes and went to the bathroom.
I went to the bathroom and looked back at Sean.”Unless you return my baby, Molly and I will be sworn enemies.”
I knew my baby was dead.
He would never come back.
So I would never forgive Molly.
Even if Sean was innocent, he was her accomplice. I never believed Molly could hurt me when I was in jail on her own.
Maybe my words hurt him. Sean didn’t ask me to have breakfast with him the next day.
I went to the dining room alone.
I saw Eric at the door. I thought of Linda so I stopped him. I asked him why Linda dropped out and the investigation.
Eric shook his head helplessly.”I talked to Linda before she left. She didn’t know what happened and the monitor didn’t take a suspicious picture.”
“So you let her quit? I think she was set up and that person wanted to get a bonus.”
I didn’t say Selena directly, but he knew the finalists so he knew who I was referring to.
Eric looked up at me and said, “Miss Carter, I know you have a good relationship with Linda, but you’d better not to speculate without evidence.”
“But you shouldn’t let Linda quit!”
“Linda dropped out on her own. I advised her but she said she was ashamed. And I heard from my colleagues that Linda has resigned.”
Eric’s words shocked me.
Had she resigned?
Couldn’t I see Linda again?
We couldn’t use our own cell phone at the resort so I didn’t have her number.
“But it’s not her fault.”
I frowned and didn’t really know how to defend her.
Eric looked at me and smiled.”You don’t have to worry about her. Linda has the ability. She hasn’t been photographed, but it will be known. It’s good for her to leave.”
Eric explained it to me carefully.
I looked at him and was in a trance for a moment.
I seemed to see Daniell in his face.

Eric was surprised.

Sean looked at me puzzled. I took a key out of my pocket and scratched my face directly!
Although I hurt, I didn’t feel it.
My skin didn’t seem to break.
Sean took my hand and grabbed the key.”What are you doing!”
“Let you rest assured.”I looked up at Sean.”I’m not a beauty, but I’m not ugly. If I cut my face, others will be afraid of me. Are you relieved?”

“I was just talking to him.”
Actually, I could see that Sean was a little guilty.
I defended Eric.
Sean waved impatiently.”You go to work.”
Eric looked at me gratefully before leaving.
After he left, Sean bent down and touched my face.”Does it hurt? How can you do that to yourself?”
His movements were gentle and he looked distressed.
