The air bag bounced out. Sean was wrapped in the air bag and didn’t move.
“Sean!”
I was scared. I rushed to open Sean’s door.
He sat upright with his eyes closed. His body and the air bag were covered with blood. I didn’t know where the blood came from.
Seeing this scene, my heart was like being held by one hand.
I was heartbroken.
But I dared not to touch Sean. I was afraid something would happen to him.
Fortunately, we were at the gate of the hospital. Several doctors pushed the bed out.
Then Marlin and Jessica came.
Molly’s car was worse than Sean’s. The air bag bounced out. There was blood in the car. The front of the car was seriously deformed.
Her face was covered with blood when she was carried out. There was a clear cut on her forehead.
I watched Sean being carried in. I tried to keep up but Marlin stopped me.
He grabbed my arm and stared at me, “June, if Molly dies, I’ll kill you!”
“Whatever.”
I took a look at Marlin and went on.
Sean and Molly were sent to the rescue room.
Soon, the light in Sean’s rescue room went out. I quickly got up and saw him pushed out.
I went over and saw that Sean’s eyes were slightly open. His left hand was held in place by several boards.
He saw me and smiled, “I’m ok.”
My heart was almost broken!
He said the same thing last time he was hurt for me.
“Don’t talk!”I said helplessly, “you are hurt.”
The doctor explained to me that Sean was not seriously injured. He just hurt his left arm. He would recover in about three months.
Marlin asked, “how is my daughter?”
The doctor looked at Marlin.”She’s still in a coma. I don’t know about her.”
With that, he pushed Sean away.
I ignored Marlin and followed Sean.
I was worried about Sean, so I asked the company for leave. I had an appointment with a customer today to go to the survey site, but I couldn’t go.
I apologized to the customer and hung up. When I got back to Sean’s ward, his arm was in plaster.
His head was slightly hit so the doctor advised him to stay in the hospital for a day.
I was at the hospital with him.
I was going to the canteen to buy some lunch at noon. James came with his servant.
The servant set four dishes and one soup on the table.
James looked at me and asked unhappily, “who is she?”
“Grandpa Jessop, I’m June.”
I introduced myself.
Hearing my name, James’s face didn’t change much, but he said to Sean, “these two sisters are going to kill you. Even if Sherry pleads with me, I won’t allow you to marry any of them!”
“Grandpa.”Sean looked at James and frowned.”Am I hurt in vain? I saved her and moved her, but you don’t allow me to marry her now.”
“No way!”James was serious.”Cindy is good. When you get tangled up with them, she doesn’t complain. Such a woman is suitable for the future hostess of Jessop Family!”
Cindy.
It turned out that woman’s name was Cindy.
I knew it was not appropriate to stand here when they were talking. I went out under the pretext of going to the bathroom.
There was a bathroom in the room, but I went out on purpose.
When I got out, I had nothing to do, so I wanted to see Molly.
I went downstairs to the rescue room. I found that the light of the rescue room was off. Marlin was not there.
The nurse told me Molly was found to have intracranial hemorrhage during the rescue. She was taken directly to the operating room.
I went to brain surgery. I was walking in when I saw a man asking the doctor.
“Luke?”
He was Luke, Sean’s assistant.
He was in the hospital.
I walked over and heard him ask, “is Molly in a dangerous situation? Will it affect her life?”
“We’re not sure until the end of the operation.”
The doctor’s answer was very ambiguous.
I stood behind and wondered if Sean had asked him to come.
Sean had a mind of his own.
As he comforted me and told James he wanted to marry me, he asked his assistant to care about Molly.
If I had not met him, I would not have known that he did so.
I went over to Luke and asked, “Luke, do you care about Molly for President Jessop?”
He turned as soon as he heard me.
I didn’t know if it was my illusion. He was obviously shocked when he saw me.
He was a little embarrassed and paused and said, “yes, President Jessop asked me to ask about Molly.”
“Oh.”
I lowered my eyes and said nothing.
Originally, I wanted to leave directly, but my bag was still in Sean’s ward, and Sean saved me anyway.
I took care of him for a day in return.
June, why didn’t you recognize the reality?
Why were you always fooled by Sean?
I scolded myself and went back to Sean’s ward.
I saw through the glass of the ward that James was still in there, so I didn’t go in. I went to the canteen for lunch and then hang out. When I came back, I found James still there.
I just sat outside and stared out of the window.
Within ten minutes, James came out.
When he saw me, he seemed to want to say something, but he took a look at the direction of the ward and finally left.
As soon as James left, I got up and went back to the ward.
I looked at Sean and wanted to say what happened, but I thought I was making a fuss.
Molly was Sean’s fiancee. Why couldn’t he care about her?
I was with Sean that afternoon, but he let Luke care about Molly, which depressed me.
I wanted to say but I didn’t know how to say it.
I wanted to let go, but I couldn’t.
In the evening, he asked Luke to drive us to the underground garage of the community. When I got out of the car, I wanted to go home, but Sean held me tightly with his healthy right hand, “honey, I hurt my hand. If I’m alone at home, it’s not convenient for me to do anything.”
He wanted me to go home with him.
“Aren’t there servants in your house?”
“Yes.”Sean paused and leaned slightly. He looked at me with an ambiguous look,” but I want to take a bath. I can’t let servants serve me.”
