Severo Laris had taken a detour and walked straight into the room.
Paula Rouco followed him and saw him sitting at his desk with the computer on, looking at the bag.
She approached him and, with her chin resting on two small hands, leaned over the desk, her watery eyes fixed on him for a moment, asking, “How do you know I don’t eat onions, garlic and parsley?”
Severo Laris turned his eyes back to her and raised his eyebrows, “Because I can observe.”
“If you’re so observant, how come you don’t know your aunt’s tastes?”
“My mother wouldn’t be as picky as you.” launched Severo Laris in a hard voice.
Paula Rouco looked at his twisted arrogance and smiled a little, “Severo Laris, admit it, admit that you actually like me especially, so much so that what I eat has become a priority observation for you.”
She thought Severo Laris would deny it out of arrogance, but instead the man stared at her with a deep gaze and said with grace and domination, “Shouldn’t I know my girlfriend’s preferences and tastes? What’s wrong with liking my girlfriend in particular? Or do you have a problem with that? Hmm?”
“…” he says it as if his girlfriend wasn’t her!
The man’s long fingers cupped her small chin, his face drew closer, his thin lips crushed against her soft lips, rolling them deep.
Giving her no chance to resist.
Well… Severo Laris is too bossy too.
…
For lunch, Modeste was very good, cooking a simple home-cooked meal, but it tasted so good that Paula Rouco ate two plates of rice.
I was so full that I fell asleep in Severo Laris’ bed shortly after lunch.
A quiet, relaxing afternoon in the countryside, with the occasional sparrow twittering outside the window.
The sunlight streaming through the window shines on the bed, with sparse flecks of light falling on the girl’s slender, delicate body…. The girl’s body.
Severo Laris closed his notebook, stood up and approached the head of the bed, contemplating her sleepy, serene face.
The green vine ointment applied in the morning had been absorbed and the small red eruptions on her face, which had gradually subsided, leaving a few red ones on her face, were not only not ugly but surprisingly pretty.
Severo Laris reached up and ran his hand through the hair falling from her forehead, his large hand gently rubbed her little head, looked at her two slightly parted lips and leaned in for a kiss.
Paula Rouco woke up with a kiss, opened her eyes in a daze and unconsciously put her hand on Severo Laris’ neck and let him do what he wanted …
The tide of love is strong and Severo Laris wants more, but mostly it ends with a kiss, out of pity and affection.
The man’s last kiss fell on the little rash dotting her little face, very gently, very affectionately.
To like someone is to be unbridledly demanding. To seek.
But the feeling of loving someone, even when hugging and kissing her, is so careful that it doesn’t hurt her, restrained and overpowering.
Paula Rouco, after being kissed by him, lay down on the bed and closed her eyes and went back to sleep, saying in a daze, “Severo, I haven’t done the laundry yet…”
Severo Laris looked at her amused, what a moment to remember that the dirty laundry from the night before had not been washed.
The girl closed her eyes and frowned slightly, distressed, “What am I going to wear in the shower tonight …”
Severo Laris teased her, “Did you know there was no change of clothes and you hadn’t done the laundry?”
She mumbled a small complaint, “I forgot in the morning and now I’m very sleepy, so I won’t be able to dry myself if I wash now anyway … Well … I’ll skip the bath tonight …. …”
There’s nothing to do with her.
Lazy little lazybones.
At the end of the day, when Severo Laris called her to the bathroom, he threw her clean, tan clothes at her.
Paula Rouco was stunned, “Auntie did my laundry?”
That would be too embarrassing and Auntie must think she’s a lazy worm.
Severo Laris merely told her to go take a shower and went back to his desk to work.
Paula Rouco finished bathing and when she went out to get a drink of water, she ran into Modeste in the kitchen and an embarrassed Modeste said, “Auntie, thanks for doing my laundry, I forgot to do it…”
“I didn’t wash your clothes and I didn’t see your dirty clothes. Severo washed them for you, I think. No wonder, last night I was falling asleep and I heard water in the bathroom.”
Paula Rouco took a sip of water and choked right away, “Cough, cough, cough …”.
“Drink slowly, drink slowly!” Modeste was busy patting her back.
Severo Laris actually washed his clothes, so his underwear and things … were also washed by Severo Laris?
Paula Rouco’s face, at the thought of that image, turned red as a shrimp.
When she returned to the room, Severo Laris saw how red she was and thought the allergy on her face was still fresh, so he took a closer look at her, drew her into his arms and sat her down, took the green vine cream and reapplied it.
Just as he finished applying it, his phone and caller ID rang, Star.
Oh no, mom is here to check on me.
Paula Rouco picked up in a hurry.
Estrella Berrocal asked over the phone, “Paulita, you and Susana haven’t had enough at school, so why don’t you come back after one night and I’ll have the driver pick you up at Susana’s house? Or maybe Susana can come and stay with us. ”
Paula Rouco’s heart rose in fright, “Mom, no no, I … that I will be home in the morning, you don’t need to send a driver to pick me up.”
“What are you doing so wrong that you are so vain?”
Paula Rouco’s mouth twitched, “No, Mom, Susana’s father is at home today and if he sees the car of The Rouco family picking me up, her father will be all the time pestering me to come home and present the business in front of him, Mom, it’s not that you don’t know how much that bothers Susana about her father. ”
“True, but after a few days off, you’ve been gone two or three days, and your father is not happy about dinner tonight.”
“Mom, I promise, I’ll be home in the morning.”
“I’m really going to send a driver to pick you up at The Prats Family tomorrow morning at ten o’clock if you’re not home. ”
“I’ll be home in the morning.”
Paula Rouco hung up the phone with a long sigh of relief after managing to deal with Estrella Berrocal.
It was awful, she almost revealed herself!
If Estrella Berrocal had sent a car to pick her up at La familia Prats and found out that she wasn’t even in La familia Prats … the consequences … would have been unimaginably dire.
“Who are the children who learn to lie without blushing?” scoffed Severo Laris.
“It’s not all because I came to see you. My mother told me I had to be home by ten a. m. tomorrow or she’d pick me up at Susana’s. What’s the earliest time for the bus back to La Ciudad Santa?”
Severo Laris said, “There is a bus at eight o’clock, I will take you to the station in the morning.”
Paula Rouco nodded with an “hmm.”
Severo Laris hugged her and settled her on his lap, rubbing his chin against the top of her hair and said, “Next time, don’t come to town alone at night to see me. hmm?”
“And what do I want you to do?”
“Call me and I’ll come find you.”
Her heart fluttered and she buried her little face in his arms, “Severo, has anyone ever said how good you are?”
“You said so.” And she said it several times.
The sweet fermentation of Paula Rouco’s heart.
What a wonderful boyfriend she has, who knows how to cook, fight lawsuits and do laundry.
“Auntie’s fried minced pork with pickled beans is so good you won’t be able to eat it when you go back to La Ciudad Santa. ”
“Go back to the Imperial and I’ll fix it for you.” Severo Laris looked down and kissed her on the forehead.
Paula Rouco looked up and said, “Severo, I seem to like you more and more.”
Severo Laris’ warm, affectionate kiss fell on her eyelids and she opened her muffled voice, “I don’t mind.”
That would make her like him even more, like him so much that she couldn’t do without him.
