We arrived at The Holy City airport promptly two hours later.
After picking up their luggage, Severo Laris and Paula Rouco had just made their way to the airport entrance when Paula Rouco’s cell phone rang.
Caller ID, Angelo.
“Hi, Paulita, you’ve already landed, right? I’ve come to take our little princess home by order of Uncle Adam and Aunt Estrella, which exit are you on?”
Paula Rouco looked unconsciously at Severo Laris beside her and said, “Exit three, almost out.”
“Okay, I’ll wait for you then.”
As they left through exit three, Paula Rouco caught a glimpse of Angelo, leaning against the blue Maserati, with his fetish.
Paula Rouco raised her hand and covered her face, can’t this guy go unnoticed?
Likewise, Angelo, next to the sports car, naturally spotted Paula Rouco and waved her across the road, “Paulita! Over here!”
Paula Rouco said to Severo Laris, “That’s my hairdresser, he knows I’m back and my parents asked him to come pick me up.”
Severo Laris’ eyes were cold, and I couldn’t tell if he was happy or angry, but he said, “Since someone is coming to pick you up, I won’t take you home.”
Angelo had come running from across the street and, seeing Paula Rouco, he came over and gave her a tight hug.
“Paulita, I’ve missed you so much. Give my prince a hug. ”
Angelo hugged her like a bear and she couldn’t even push, “Angelo, let go of me first.”
Off to the side, Severo Laris, ice had formed under his eyes.
After releasing her with a smile, Angelo picked up the small suitcase he was holding and realized there was a traveling companion.
“Paulita, who is…”
“His name is Severo Laris and he is a third grader at our school,” Paula Rouco abruptly interjected to introduce herself.
After having introduced Severo Laris so briefly, the ice under Severo Laris’ eyes, became even thicker and colder.
Angelo held out his hand, “Hi, I’m Paulita’s hairdresser and fiance, Angelo. ”
Paula Rouco looked at him wide-eyed and teary, incredulous, “What are you talking about?”
“What nonsense, it’s the truth, okay.”
Just as the two men were arguing, Severo Laris turned and left the airport exit with his bag in tow.
When Paula Rouco turned to go after her, Angelo had already grabbed her by the hand and was heading for the car. “Don’t be silly, Uncle Adam and Aunt Estrella are waiting for us to come back for dinner.”
Paula Rouco is dragged toward the car by Angelo, but keeps turning her head to watch Severo Laris’ fading back.
Is he upset?
Angelo the loudmouth.
The blue Maserati starts up and speeds past.
Paula Rouco sat in the passenger seat, wrinkling her white forehead.
Angelo looked at her as he drove, “What’s the matter princesita, aren’t you happy just getting back?”.
“Why did you just say you’re my fiance?”
“What’s the matter, don’t you want to marry me?” Angelo raises an eyebrow and laughs jokingly.
To my surprise, Paula Rouco tossed out a serious comment, “Of course I don’t want to marry you, we are childhood friends, not fiances.”
Angelo was taken aback for a moment, then laughed without much concern, “So angry, eating a bomb?”
“Angelo!”
“Ay, the little one is here.”
He was in such a good mood that Paula Rouco lost her temper for a moment and leaned back in the passenger seat, puffed up and wanting to say something.
Inside the car there was silence for a long time.
Angelo looked at her out of the corner of his eye and couldn’t help but say, “I was wrong a moment ago, but that man looked like he lusted after you, so how could he have backed out if I hadn’t said that?”
Paula Rouco turned her back to him, bit her lip and poured out her breath, “Don’t worry.”
Angelo saw that she wasn’t too angry and stepped back, “Okay, I’m not going to argue with you now.
It’s just that Angelo is depressed, even if they are hairdressers, that doesn’t stop them from developing a dating relationship, does it?
Now the closest thing to a childhood relationship has become an obstacle to the development of their relationship?
Angelo stood up and scratched his hair, annoyed.

The blue Maserati enters the Rouco family compound.
When Paula Rouco and Angelo entered the mansion, Felipa and Estrella Berrocal were preparing dinner.
“Paulita is back, Adam, Paulita is back.”
Paula Rouco ran and hugged Estrella Berrocal, “Mom, I missed you so much.”
Estrella Berrocal smiled and said, “You still miss me, going to school the first month and calling home unannounced a few times.”
“Aunt Estrella, Paulita, stop talking in the family, I’m starving, when is dinner going to be served?”
Estrella Berrocal patted her daughter, “You and Angelo go wash your hands first, we’ll be eating soon.”
“Good.”
When Roberto Rouco and Adam Rouco came down from upstairs, dinner was already underway.
At the table, Roberto Rouco asked Paulita a bunch of questions about college life in bits and pieces.
Paula Rouco spent the entire trip back from the airport wondering if Severo Laris would be angry, and for a moment lost her appetite for the delicious food.
Estrella Berrocal noticed, naturally, and gave her daughter a prawn, asking, “Don’t you like the food? Don’t you like the prawns? Why don’t you eat them today?”
Adam Rouco’s gaze also turned to his daughter.
Paula Rouco shook her head and looked down at her shrimp, “No.”
Angelo snorted and smiled, “Uncle Adam, Aunt Estrella, don’t worry, Paulita is just tired from the plane ride, she’ll be fine after dinner and rest later.”
Estrella Berrocal said to her daughter, “Then, when you finish eating, go to your room to take a bath and get a good night’s sleep.”
“Hmm.”

When dinner was over, Paula Rouco went upstairs first and headed to her room.
She couldn’t resist sending a Facebook message to Severo Laris: “Are you home yet?”.
After a long while, the other party replied nonchalantly, “No.”
Paula Rouco looked at the time. It was a little after eight o’clock and I still hadn’t arrived home.
I had already heard from Lastra that Severo Laris’ family of origin was not too well off, living in the small town of La Ciudad Santa, and it could be a long bus ride home from the airport.
Paula Rouco felt guilty and replied, “I’m sorry.”
For the moment, Severo, sitting on the bus ride home, frowned slightly at the name.
“Why are you apologizing to me?”
“I shouldn’t have made a little fuss to get you to walk me home.”
After a long time, Severo Laris did not answer her again.
Paula Rouco thought he was very angry and even tried to call.
Instead, Severo Laris replied, “I thought you would realize where you had gone wrong.”
Looking at the words, one can imagine his indifferent and cold face, and as cold words.
Paula Rouco sent a nice aggravation emoji for.
Severo Laris looked at the screen, the emoji of the girl bawling, and the coldness between his brows faded a little.
Paula Rouco was about to explain that Angelo was not her fiance when there was a knock at the door.
“Paulita, you’ve showered, did you find your clothes, do you want me to get them for you?”
At the door, the soft voice of Estrella Berrocal.
Paula Rouco hurried to tuck her phone under the covers and stood up.
Estrella Berrocal had pushed her way through the door and said, “What are you doing, while I put the bath water on for you?”
Paula Rouco ran and hugged Estrella Berrocal: “Mom, you hurt me so much.”
Estrella Berrocal said amused: “You are my daughter, who else do I love if not you”.
After finding her pajamas and putting on the hot water, Paula Rouco lay down in the bathtub and soaked comfortably.
Estrella also gave her drops of lavender oil and sprinkled her with lots of freshly picked rose petals, and she lay in the tub, comfortably asleep.
Estrella Berrocal stayed in her daughter’s room and helped her make the bed when the cell phone rang under the sheets.
Estrella Berrocal frowned slightly and pulled out her phone, caller ID, Severo.
SeveroCOPY00?
Estrella Berrocal’s brow furrowed even more, too curious, combined with concern, to take the call.
Asking about the others, if they are male or female.
