I knew that Molly would not admit it.
She worked so hard for so long to forge a good image in front of Sean. How could she let this image collapse so easily?
But I didn’t care. I looked at Sean and asked,”President Jessop, can you live up to your previous promise?”
I asked him but I was gambling.
It was not about his feelings for me, it was about his possessiveness for me.
Sean looked at me with some hesitation.
Although I had just told him what Molly said and did, it was clear that he didn’t believe it.
Molly saw Sean’s hesitation and immediately got alert and asked me, “what?”
“Guess it.”
I looked at Molly and smiled mysteriously.
“What did you say?”
Molly looked up at Sean innocently.
Her nose hurt so she looked embarrassed.
“It is…”
“President Jessop, “I looked at Sean and wasn’t sure he would help me. I interrupted him, “I don’t want to be your wife, and I don’t need her in jail.”
Sean was surprised to hear me.
I continued, “there was a saying in the ancients that a wife is inferior to a concubine, and a concubine is inferior to a prostitute.”I paused and continued, “so I want to be President Jessop’s lover, OK?”
Anyway, I believed Molly’s words.
If my dead baby was still suffering, I wouldn’t let Molly live well.
“What? What are you talking about?”Molly seemed to realize something. She grabbed Sean’s arm.”June seems to be crazy. Just now she looked like she was been stimulated. Her mind is a little abnormal.”
“Yeah, I’m crazy. Because you told me that our baby was still tortured after he died.”
I mentioned Sean when I said this baby.
Even if he did not love this baby, he was his father!
As long as I said it all the time, he would be a little touched.
“I didn’t.”Molly pulled Sean, “I really didn’t do such a cruel thing. At that time, I just lost my baby. I used to be a mother, too!”
Molly began to panic.
But now Sean was cold no matter what she said.
I calmly looked at them and said, “President Jessop, you and she continue to get married. I just want to be your lover. I just want to be by your side.”
“June! You have no shame!”
What I said angered Molly!
She rushed to me and wanted to hit me!
I was trying to avoid, but suddenly there was a black wall in front of me!
I looked up and saw Sean in the middle of Molly and me. He was facing Molly with his back to me.
“Sean, are you helping her? Do you forget what she did? She is very good at cheating. Did she cheat you? Are good people going to get hurt like me?”
Molly was incoherent.
But she said she was kind.
I really thought she was ridiculous.
I used to think we were sisters so I could forgive her. But now I found that the kind, even stupid person was not her.
It was me.
I couldn’t see Sean’s expression. I hesitated for a moment and decided to gamble.
I said, “President Jessop, I was so rushed. I think I’m wrong now. I can’t say that in front of your fiancee. It embarrasses you.”
I had been looking at Sean’s back and side. I saw him pucker his lips.
He seemed to be in a bad mood.
I paused and continued, “I’m leaving. You can think I didn’t say that.”
Then I turned and wanted to go out.
But before I went out, I heard Sean’s firm voice behind me, “OK, I agree.”
I stopped and turned my head slightly.
Sean had turned and seemed to be smiling. There seemed to be a smile in his black eyes.
Was this man happy?
I thought he would like to skin me.
Sean reached out to me.”Now that it’s settled, I won’t give you a chance to regret it.”
I took a look at Molly who was angry behind him. I smiled hypocritically. Although I hesitated, I finally fell into his arms.
As soon as I leaned against his strong chest muscles, Molly grabbed his arm.”Sean, what are you doing?”
“As you can see.”
Sean answered.
“But have you forgotten what you said?”
“I said I would marry you. I will marry you.”
“But…”
“But I didn’t say I wouldn’t find another woman.”
With that, Sean took me outside.
Molly, you deserved it.
As soon as we went out, we were stopped by the police.
After all, I hit Molly. If Molly didn’t agree, I couldn’t leave.
Sean took out a white business card and handed it to the police, “tell the chief of police I’ll deal with it. Just contact my lawyer if you have something to do.”
The policeman took a look at the name on it and made way at once.
Molly was after us. As she walked, she said, “Sean, don’t leave. If you leave, I’ll kill myself!”
Sean stopped.
He looked at Molly and said, “I’ll investigate June’s baby. If the truth is what she said, I will let you commit suicide.”
Sean’s words scared Molly.
Molly was frightened to cry when he finished.
She slumped on the ground, pale.
Sean was smart. I guessed he already knew the answer.
Sean and I were in the car. He belted me. His handsome face stopped opposite me and asked, “tell me why you didn’t leave.”
“Because I don’t want to be separated from you.”
I was surprised, too. After I made up my mind, I was good at lying.
Sean smiled. His deep eyes looked at me. He said after a moment of silence,” although I know you are lying to me, I am willing to accept this lie.”
His answer surprised me.
