He said that again!
He said he would destroy the orphanage before. Now he said he wanted to destroy Universe design co. LTD.
“President Jessop, you are noble. Even if you kill Daniell, I’m not surprised.”
Then I picked up the pink leopard that I was going to put down before and carried it into the guest bedroom.
Sean chased in and grabbed one arm of the pink panther.
I hugged the pink panther tightly, and we two froze.
As soon as he pulled, the pink panther’s arm broke!
I fell to the ground.
Sean stepped forward and held me on the ground.”Are you ok?”
His tone and eyes were full of worry.
I watched him for a moment in a trance.
He seemed to really care about me.
But when I thought about what he said yesterday that he couldn’t leave Molly in his whole life, I felt like I was awakened by a slap in the face.
I struggled out of his arms and said coldly, “thank President Jessop for caring about me. I’m fine.”
I got up and picked up the pink leopard arm he had thrown into the ground. I picked up its body and spliced them.
Fortunately, the place where the fracture occurred was the joint. I could sew them with thread.
Sean looked at me for a long time and said in a hoarse voice, “do you like this? Then I can buy you a room of it.”
I thought of what he said yesterday.
He didn’t give up Molly, but he used this way to tease me.
Maybe out of revenge, I held the pink leopard and said to him, “I don’t like the pink leopard, but I like this.”
I didn’t go on.
But Sean was so smart that he should understand.
Sean’s face suddenly cooled.”June, don’t forget what’s written on our marriage agreement. You can’t associate with other men!”
“Really? I have no ambiguity with him. We are friends.”
I said it word by word.
“OK.”
That night, Sean and I were angry and didn’t sleep together.
The next morning, I got a lot of messages from Molly.
Molly’s phone had long been blacklisted by me. She couldn’t call me and she could only text me.
I took a look at the contents of the messages. She was scolding me. She seemed to have found out that I had a house. She thought it was from Sherry.
She cursed me desperately.
I thought she was convinced Sean wouldn’t leave her, so she was so arrogant.
I collected these messages after reading them.
I walked out of my bedroom and heard a sound in the master bathroom. Sean is up.
Maybe I was used to it. I baked two loaves of bread. The porridge which was made regularly yesterday had been made.
I had breakfast. When I left, Sean just came out of the bedroom.
I left without speaking to him.
Actually, I didn’t have to work today, but I didn’t want to see Sean.
I had nowhere to go outside and suddenly wanted to visit the children in the orphanage.
I went to the orphanage by car.
It was the same as when Sean and I came. The children were very happy in their new home.
Several children were playing basketball on the basketball court.
I went in and the old Dean came out.
I exchanged greetings with him and told him that I had a rest today. The old Dean said casually, “if you are free, you can also come here to do volunteer work. Although there is no money for you, you can eat.”
His words woke me up and I agreed on the spot.
I had been with the children all day.
There were children of all ages in the orphanage. I was mainly playing with three or four year olds today.
Looking at them, I couldn’t help thinking that if my child was still alive, he should be one and a half years old now.
When I left, I agreed with the dean that I would come to accompany the children every Tuesday and Wednesday.
After that, my life went on as usual.
Although Sean and I had been living together, we seldom talked.
One Wednesday, when I got to the orphanage on time, I saw Sean’s car parked there. He stood at the gate.
He saw me approaching and asked me, “you would rather come here than get along with me, would you?”
“I would rather come here? I’m happy here.”
I didn’t ask him how he knew I was here because I knew it was easy for him.
I ignored him and wanted to go in.
But what I didn’t expect was that Sean followed me and said, “I’m free today. I’ll be with you.”
I thought he misunderstood what I was here to do. I kindly reminded him,”President Jessop, I’m not here to visit. I’m here to volunteer.”
“I know.”
Sean’s face was expressionless when he spoke.
Obviously, he didn’t get it wrong.
I spent the whole day with the younger children. I occasionally came out to see Sean take off the status of president of the Giant group and play basketball with older children.
At lunch, I took some children to the restaurant.
I saw a group of boys around Sean listening to his story. They listened very carefully.
I went over and heard him say a story instead of a truth.
I watched Sean surrounded by a group of children. I was a little confused.
What did he want to do?
He touched me but hurt me again and again.
What did he want to do?
At the end of the night, Sean and I left the orphanage. In the car I asked him, “what do you want to do?”
“Do what I want to do.”
Just a few words.
“Not for me?”I didn’t dare to look at him when I was sitting in the copilot’s seat.”What you did move me and made me think you liked me. But what you are really doing makes me despair.”
The next second, I heard the answer that confused me.
“What I want to do is to get close to you, stay with you and be with you.”
What he said left me at a loss.
I turned to look at him. He was driving and didn’t look at me, but his eyes were firm.
I had some illusions as if what he said is true.
He liked me.
But when I thought of Molly, I found myself ridiculous.
I looked down.”Sean, you have Molly. You can never move me.”
I was lying.
I was moved by him.
But I dared not to be moved by him.
As I lowered my head, a big palm came into my sight. He grabbed my hand on my leg. I heard Sean say, “I’ll deal with this. Don’t worry.”
I couldn’t believe my ears. I looked at him and asked, “you say that again?”
