Chapter 26 Do You Want Me to Divorce?

“Of course the baby is my husband’s.”I smiled faintly and asked, “What about you? Who is the father of the child? What about this time?”
Molly has had two pregnancies at college. I knew that.
She dared not let anyone else go with her, so I had to accompany her to the abortion.
Molly Carter was trembling angrily at me.”June Carter, you’re a bitch! I’m not going to let you have a baby!”
She finished and left angrily with the test sheet.
My heart was also a little uneasy. After all, Molly has never been kind, if her children are gone and my children stay.
Then she may never be Sean’s real wife.
I began to struggle to tell Sean about my pregnancy.
As a result, I forgot about it because I was busy.
One weekend two weeks later, James Jessop asked me to come home with Sean.
When I saw Sean in the car, I was in a trance for a moment.
Well, we have not seen each other in almost a month.
York’s four seasons are obvious. As soon as September enters, the weather becomes cooler. I wear a loose shirt to hide my pregnant belly.
James Jessop looked at my loose clothes and immediately said happily, “What’s wrong with this? Am I going to have a little grandson?”
I laughed and said, “Grandpa, how can it be so fast? If there is one, we must tell you at the first time.”
But James Jessop was reluctant and said like an old kid, “Is Sean too busy to ignore you? If so, tell me, I’ll teach him a lesson!”
I immediately shook my head and put my hand on the man’s arm.”No, Sean is very good to me. He cares about me very much. It depends on fate to have a baby. What do you think?”
“That is right.”James thought what I said was reasonable and didn’t ask any further questions.
Now I have learned to act in front of James Jessop.
I turned to look at Sean, and the man was looking at me with a somewhat complicated expression.
Throughout the meal, I did a good job and didn’t arouse James Jessop’s suspicion.
When we get out of Grandpa’s house, Sean Jessop says, “You’re acting better and better now.”
His voice was somewhat indifferent, and now I’ve been able to figure out what he was thinking, and I wasn’t going to be passionate anymore.
I stood by the car and said, “Thank you, Mr. Jessop, for your compliment. I left first.”
I won’t insult myself again.
I was about to leave, but the man grabbed my arm.
I turned to him and asked, “What else is Mr. Jessop doing?”
I knew in my heart that it’s not easy to let go of a person who I have loved for twelve years.
But I tried to be as aloof as possible.
Only in this way, when I was driven away by him, I wouldn’t be too pathetic.
Sean looked at me more complicated and stopped for a few seconds before he said, “Get in the car, I’ll take you back.”
As he said, he went to the back seat himself, and I wasn’t allowed to refuse. Then he moved in and gave me the space at the door.
I got into the car after hesitation.
“Molly’s pregnant.”
As soon as I got in, Sean mentioned it.
It made my heart ache.
I thought he was kind, but he was going to tell me this.
“Well, then?”I pretended to be calm and asked him, “Do you want me to divorce, or what?”
Maybe it was my behavior that went beyond his imagination. Sean Jessop looked at me for a moment with an inquiring eye and said,”Let’s wait until the baby is born.”
We were silent all the way.
Sean Jessop wanted to take me to my villa, but I told the driver Daisy’s address.
As I watched the car approaching Daisy’s door, I touched my flat belly and asked him, “Sean Jessop, what if I’m pregnant, too?”
